Next summer, my parents want me to get a job and I was just curious if anyone here has a job? If so, what is your job and do you like it?

:)

Yes, we did. So what? Let's start another. :)

I'm still working as an underpaid assistant manager at a local Century Theatres.

I'm working on transfering to a bigger theatre, same chain though.

I love my job! Free movies!

EastCoastPunk, I think it'd be cool working in an ice cream shop over the summer, don't you think? Nice and cool...and sweet! ^_^

Alex where do you work?

I design sites for a company called "Elie's Extremely Fat! (EEF!)" their slogan is: we're not sending submliminal messages

Haha, in all seriousness, i'm just starting up an art company. I also want to be famous, I heard it's decent pay in that area...

I really want a job at a theatre. I see 40 movies a year, which is nearly $300 a year. And with the job I'd get free movies, that's the one perk I really want the job for. There's also an arcade in the theatre lobby, so there's lots of fun to be had during break.. The theatre is in the mall, so I have access to cd stores, video game stores, and food stores like Pretzelmaker, Dairy Queen and New York Fries. It's the perfect job for me.

No, it's a local place called Peaceful Meadows. I forget their slogan. Something to do with cows.

I work at the local library shelving books, cutting things out, drawing (starting tomorrow LOL), signing the kiddies up for the summer reading club and whatnot. it doesn't pay too well, but the hours are awesome. i don't mind the job, but i don't really like it.

I never really liked them much anyways but when the air in the place you work at is just dripping with donut smell it gets nauseating.

Next summer, I'm hoping to work at either Blockbuster, Safeway, or Target. Good stuff. Blockbuster with the movies, Safeway with them donuts, and Target's got everything, including Cheez-Its!!! ^_^
