Points of Authority vs. Pts.of.Athty [Archive]

I like Points of Authority better than Pts. because of that cool..umm...noise at the intro, and through out the song that the remix doesn't have. It makes me think of planets :) I like the reanimation version because of the drums, and the weird sounds in that song has a sort of military sound to it. They're both good, I guess.

Points of Authority is one of my favorite Linkin Park songs and actually my favorite live song. Out of all the live versions I have, I think the best one I have is from Rock AM Ring 2001 in Germany.

cool.....see I never heard Points of Authority until like April (YES....I am pethetic...I don't own HT!!!!) when I bought FPATPF, and I had known only Pts.OF.Athty, from Reanimation, then I heard it on the DVD, and was like, whoa! I like this version better.....

In 2001 I wasn't obsessed with LP (it started in Feb. 2002)....and Then in Apr. 2003 I got an amazon.com Gift Cert. and I figured it had the HT songs on it .....I was wrong, so I am screwed until....I get enough money....w/o spending it on other LP merch...

Not the complete songs (or all of them) on the DVD, only My december, points of authority, papercut, In the end, crawling, one step closer,high voltage, and bits and pieces of the other songs.....(I know My december and High Voltage aren't on HT i am just listing the songs on it)

You have a Linkin Park fansite and you don't even have their debut album, and in my mind, one of the best albums ever: Hybrid Theory.

well see....I don't have any money source...anymore at least, so what money I do get I am saving it for website package upgrades.... so it's not really weird.... i could be a die hard fan, and not have the money to buy, every LP item.....

Lmao, You should worry about actually having the real album before you do upgrading your website.

The albums are the main thing, they're not just a T-Shirt. Albums are the main reason you should like the band, because that's what contains the music.

there isnt really a problem with the way I am going about things...., you say buy first and upgrade later....I say upgrade first (earn money) and buy the cd later....It isnt that I don't have Hybrid Theory.....I have a burnt copy.....and I want a reg. one....
Besides I don't get out much....and my father sure as hell wont take me to buy the cd, because he thinks I'm obsessed.....

If you don't even have the album, then I highly dought you have much other merchandise, so I don't know why he'd think you're "obsessed".

he meaning my father I hope...okay... I have already said why I havent got HT yet... I didnt come here to get "attacked" by people, who think I am not a true fan becuse I have LP's 2nd and 3rd album but not their first.... besides me and my site is not what this thread is about....

I dunno, I'm not sure, I guess I like both of them the same. It's very hard to choose, since they're both so great, and yeah, I agree with Alexis, the 'sound' at the beginning of the song is cool. All of the 'sounds' on the songs are good.

I'm not trying to be meen here, but could you possibly end your sentences with just one period instead of 2 or 3? Having it constantly running on with periods everywhere makes it harder to read.
