DDR (Dance Dance Revolution)

Well, I'm just wondering if anyoen else in here played or wants to play DDR. I've been playing it for.... 2 years now or something like that but I'm still not as good as those professionals they show on TV or on websites and stuff. Oh, also, does any of you can break dance and play at the same time? I sure can't ^_^() Anyways, I'll be looking forward to responses^_^

I've played the arcade style one they have in...well...arcades and made a fool out of myself twice! there was this one song that cracked everyone up 'cuz it was a hardcore song. anyway i love DDR! if i had playstation i'd get the mat and everything. my friend brought both for prom XD

I love playing on those games in the arcades with my mates...its just so funny to see two lads jumping around like complete idiots XD

I've got so addicted to that game, that I've started playing it online as well (FlashFlashRevolution, I advise you all to check it out ;))

I really want to steal one of the arcade machines and bring it home :P

i'm addicted to FFR as well.

i even tried stealing one of those DDR machines. my friends and i had plotted how we were going to steal it, but we figured we'd need two strong guys and a getaway truck, so it didn't really work out ><

I used to like DDR somewhat. I never played at the arcade, just at some friend's house. Now, I can't ####### stand it. AARRGHH, it's so annoying. FFR is pretty cool.

Yeah I like it. I though, like RPG games better though. But I own:

2 pads
Dance Dance Revolution
Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix
Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix
Dance Dance Revolution Disney (It sucks)


I am good with a controller but when it comes to pads, no no.

That game kicks my ass. I like using the controller pad for the PS games, that's alot easier until you have to press two directions at once. Japan is a cool song.

heh, i am horrible at that game.....but a kid from my school who just graduated is OBSESSED w/that game, and he is actually the top ranked player in michigan lol....but yeah, that game is for nerds

ahem but practically all the people who play this game are not nerds. besides, i do believe that there really is no such thing as a nerd anymore. at least not in my town, there isn't.

well, will, dancing is NOT for nerds because i like to dance.....but i really dont consider this game "dancing" its just stepping on a bunch of arrows....i mean its alright, but i will admit its a GREAT way to work up a sweat, not quite as good as sex tho :P

well i think the most ridiculous thing is when the "pros" at DDR actually DO dance ddr style...without the DDR pad!!

I agree with there isn't any nerds anymore. You do step on a bunch of arrows but it's up to the dancer to actually move his/her arms around and show that they're dancing. In my opinion, moving around your feet like that is considered dancing... I don't what you guys think but.. yeah ^_^

My friend used to play it 24/7 he got a mat and all...he was on level 8 or something. He said yea sure you can play it! but i never did so me and his cuz are going to steal it! Mwahahahahaha! and we will rule the world!!!!!! hahahaha Well anyway it may be a cool game

How does he get to level 8? Do you mean he can play songs with "8 feet"?
