Sadly, Pokémon is what got me into RPG's. It used to be a cool thing until they made a show. Then it was okay. Then they started making boxers and underwear, and then it was too much.

My favorite RPG is all of The Legend Of Zelda games, specifically Ocarina Of Time and Ocarina Of Time: Master Quest. The Zelda series, I think, is the best RPG/adventure series of all time. It's outstanding.

Mine would be Albert Odyssey for Sega Saturn. It's so moving, so deep, and so funny!

Next would come Phantasy Star I, II, III, & IV. Those are all wonderful. If a game can make you shed a tear, you know it's good.

After that comes Grandia II, but I never finished it, nor played Grandia I. :(

Final Fantasy 9 for PSOne. Right now I'm getting into some RPG games. I can't wait for Sudeki for the Xbox. And I want to buy a Game Boy Advance Sp to play some rpg games like the Legacy of Goku and some Pokemon games. :shifty:

I gotta be honest, I've never tried any games from X-box... I mostly play PS or PS2 games. I really love those two systems that's why. Zelda games are pretty cool but my ultimate favorite is the Ocarina of Time one for Nintendo 64. I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy games but I only played... 7 through 10.. I kinda was dissaponted when they changed the system for Final Fantasy 11. Nothing is wrong with online games it's just, it's a tradition for the Final Fantasy games to be for PS or nintendo. (I haven't really played the older ones except for Final Fantasy 2 on the computer (which is.. hm.. I think Final Fantasy 4 in America or something, I'm not really sure) Also, I was wondering if any of you ever played Tales of Destiny II. It's a must play for those anime fans. Like Star Ocean, it also has its anime series. ^_^

Final Fantasy VII is the best RPG ever. Followed by Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Even thought its a adventure, its good enough to be a RPG.

All of the Zelda games are action/adventure/RPG. ;)

super mario RPG!! for super nintendo...i lvoed that game. and zelda: a link to the past.....that was great too, and so was the other 2 zelda games for N64. but i HATE all the final fantasy games, i just dont like em hehe

FFIX had a pretty cool ending, I'm not spoiling it just in-case some people didn't beat the game (if they played it)

I must admit that FF IX's ending is pretty awesome. They went from the hightech Balamb Garden on FF VIII to the Middle Ages effects of FF IX. ^_^ Also, the storyline is great.

I would say Final Fantasy 7. I really got into the whole story of the game.

I think the best RPG of all time is Final Fantasy 7 on the PS. That game was just soo crazy.

Being part of a Final Fantasy site obviously means I have a interest in it :P

I'm a really big fan of FFVII though, cloud just had the greatest hairdo (sad, aren't I? :P) but the whole plot was really well thought out. It had twists nearly everywhere ^_^

FFX is also a very high ranked game in my books, the graphics I think were amazing (although nother compared to the stuff we have now :P)

I would say it would have to be Final Fantasy III/VI to Japanese players. It was the first RPG I ever played and it's still a great game compared to the graphically enhanced games out in this new age gaming world.
