Looks like i'm the second one to review an album the forums. I chose to review 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' to let you guys know that this is the best rap album right now on the streets.

01. Intro 7/10
This intro track is as short as 6 seconds. It's simply a somebody dropping a coin and a gun getting reloaded. This is a nice intro to start the album because it's simbolizing the title of the album. But it's not the best.
02. What Up Gangsta 7/10
This is the best song to start off the album. Because he's introducing himself to the public. What up gangstaaah is included in the chorus of the song. He talks about what he thinks about himself and what some other people think about him. The first line after the first chorus is They say I walk around like got a 'S' on my chest and he replies Naw, that's a semi-auto, and a vest on my chest. By the way, nice beats.
03. Patiently Waiting feat. Eminem 9/10
This song is the first song that 50 Cent has some collaboration with Eminem or any other rappers in the album. This has to be by far one of his best songs. Because 50 Cent says that he is not afraid of anyone and he is willing to fight with anyone. "These industry niggas ain't friends, they know how to pretend" He also adds some 9/11 reference. I don't like Eminem at all but on the second verse he's killing. As he talks about the best rappers and some 9/11 reference as well. "Shady Records was eighty seconds away from the towers
Them cowards f***** wit the wrong building, they meant to hit ours". On the 3rd verse 50 is talking about fighting with anyone and defeating them. I think that this song is also addressed to Ja Rule.
04. Many Men [Which Death] 9/10
This song have to be the sadest song I've ever heard. As he talk how he got shot. The song goes like this "Many men, wish death upon me, Blood in my eye dawg and I can't see, I'm trying to be what I'm destined to be, And n***** trying to take my life away...". He alo talks about getting back at them. It also has one of the best beats ever made.
05. In The Club 9/10
This song another of the best song of the album. He starts with the catchy verse: "Go, go, go, go, go, go, Go shawty, it's your birthday, We gon' party like it's your birthday". The beats produced by Dr. Dre are the best beats ever. In this songs 50 talks about how he has progressed.
06. High All The Time 4/10
This song got to be the worst song of the album. You know why by just looking at the title. But it's not the worst song ever...
07. Heat 7.5/10
He talks about getting back at the people that shot him. This song has the best beats by Dr. Dre. A gun getting reloaded. This is the best fighting song ever. "Behind that twinkle in ya eyes, I can see the b**** in you."
8. If I Can't 8/10
The chorus goes like this "If I can't do well, homey, it can't be done
Now I'ma let the champagne bottle pop, I'ma take it to the top,Fo sho I'ma make it hot, baby (baby)" It's a very catchy chorus and the beats are pretty good. On of the best lines is "I am whut I am, you could like it or love it, It feels good to pull 50 grand and think nothin of it". This has to be one of 50's best indeed.
9. Blood Hound feat. Young Buck of G-Unit 7/10
This is a very hyper song as 50 starts with "50 Cent, that's my name,
Man I ain't f*****' playin'". Young Buck did a great job. As he starts off with "I came in this game knowin' niggas gon' hate me
Just for the simple fact they know that I'm a rida' (rida')". This is not the best and not the worst song.
10. Back Down 9/10
This song is addressed to Ja Rule. It's another song with beats of the hook. As 50 says "I ain't tellin anyone you cat, I ain't tellin anyone you gettin extored, It ain't over.... (G-UNIT), I've been patently waitin to BLOWW, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the "50 Cent Show", This is my life, my pain, my night, my gun, Now that I'm back, you can't sleep, I'm a nightmare huuhhhh" This is another master piece of 50 Cent. I'd give this song an 8/10 but at the end a woman comes defending Ja Rule, it's so hilarious!! .
11. P.I.M.P. 6/10
50 Cent talks about him being the greatest pimp. This song is not that great. I love the remix with Snoop Dogg better.
12. Like My Style feat. Tony Yayo 7.5/10
In this song 50 expresses himself in a very cocky way as in other songs. As 50 says in the chorus "I know you like my style, You like how I break it down, You like how I break it down, Wanna get rich I'll show you how"
13. Poor Lil' Rich 7.9/10
He talks how he was poor and now rich. And how the rap game have helped him progressed his life. The chorus starts "I was a poor n****, now I'm a rich n****".
14. 21 Questions feat. Nate Dogg 9/10
This have to be one of the best love songs I've heard. As Nate Dogg talks in the chorus "Would you love me if I was down and out?" and that's what basically the song is about. Nate Dogg did a great job. The beats are awesome and appropiate for the song.
15. Don't Push Me feat. Eminem & Lloyd Banks of G-Unit 7.8/10
50 Cent says "Right now I'm on the edge, so don't push me
I aim straight for your head, so don't push me" in the chorus and that's what the whole songs is about. I don't know about Eminen but Lloyd did a good job,
16. Gotta Make it to Heaven 8.5/10
You know what tha song is about once you see the title. It's a pretty good song. He says in the chorus "I gotta make it to heaven, f*** going through hellGotta make it to heaven, gotta make it to heaven...". It got a nice flow.
Bonus Cuts Unlisted Songs
17. Wanksta 9/10
This was the song that introduced the world to 50. It got great beats. Another of 50's classic. This song is also addressed to Ja Rule. 50 Cent says that he is the "wanksta".
18. U Not Like Me 7.9/10
He talks about himself being unique and nobody it's like him. It's a very nice song.
19. Life's on the Line 7/10
In this song, as the last song of the album, 50 Cent says that he doesn't care if some people don't like him. In the chorus he talks about the people that tried to kill him saying 'i dont belive you murder'...
Final Thought 8.5/10
This is a great album! It's focused on a lot of things. 50 talks a lot about his personal life, unlike many rappers. Yeah, he talks about drugs, hoes, and some of the things that most rappers rap about. But deeply this album is about revenge and how he has progressed in his life and in the rap game. There are no perfect songs in this album but most of them are great. If you listen to rap, make sure to get it. If you don't like rap then make sure you at least download his bests and you be the jugde. :) I know that I would never regret getting this album. I can't wait to get his other albums out in stores and his upcoming album on Christmas. And some of his appearances in some of the songs in the G-Unit upcoming album.

I'm not a big 50 cent fan but I like the song wanksta. I don't know why. Probably cause in the video he says 'wankstas' and it sounds funny.

My opinion on 50 cent, the man who's CD is so shitty, it's not even worth 50 cents (http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=87&t=3305).

He has a song called P.I.M.P.?

He can spell? Hooray for pocket change!

Sorry but this artist is terrible. He raps monotone, is UGLY, and has a style that puts me to sleep.

21 Questions is the title for his love song? Isn't that a game? I guess love is game for him.

I don't care what you guys thnk about him. He is till my favorite rapper (after Mike). And 21 questions is the best I've heard, not the best one ever made. By the way, here's the lyrics for the song, so you guys quit talking sh!t.

[50 Cent - singing]
New York City!
You are now rapping... with 50 Cent
You gotta love it...
I just wanna chill and twist the lye
Catch stunts in my 7-45
You drive me crazy shorty I
Need to see you and feel you next to me
I provide everything you need and I
Like your smile I don't wanna see you cry
Got some questions that I got to ask and I
Hope you can come up with the answers babe

[Nate Dogg ]
Girl... it's easy to love me now
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl... it's easy to love me now
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl...

[50 Cent]
If I fell off tomorrow would you still love me?
If I didn't smell so good would you still hug me?
If I got locked up and sentenced to a quarter century
could I count on you to be there to support me mentally?
If I went back to a hooptie from a Benz
would you poof, and disappear, like some of my friends?
If I was hit and I was hurt would you be by my side?
If it was time to put in work would you be down to ride?
I'd get out and peel a nigga cap, you chill and drive
I'm askin questions to find out how you feel inside
If I ain't rap cause I flipped burgers at Burger King
would you be ashamed to tell your friends you feelin me?
In the bed if I used my tongue, would you like that?
If I wrote you a love letter, would you write back?
Now we can have a lil' drink you know a nightcap
And we could go do what you like, I know you like that

[Nate Dogg]
Girl... it's easy to love me now
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl... it's easy to love me now (Woo!)
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl...

[50 Cent]
Now would you leave me if your father, found out I was thuggin?
Do you believe me when I tell you, you the one I'm lovin?
Are you mad cause I'm askin you 21 questions?
Are you my soulmate? Cause if so, girl you're a blessin
Do you trust me enough, to tell me your dreams?
I'm staring at ya trying to figure how you got in them jeans
If I was down would you say things to make me smile?
I treat you how you want to be treated just teach me how
If I was with some other chick and someone happened to see
and when you asked me about it I said it wasn't me
would you believe me, or up and leave me?
How deep is our bond if that's all it takes for you to be gone?
We only humans girl we make mistakes
To make it up I'll do whatever it take
I love you like a fat kid love cake
You know my style, I'll say anything to make you smile

[Nate Dogg]
Girl... it's easy to love me now
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl... it's easy to love me now
Would you love me if I was down and out?
Would you still have love for me?
Girl...

Could you love me in a Bentley?
Could you love me on a bus?
I'll ask 21 questions, and they all about us
Could you love me in a Bentley?
Could you love me on a bus?
I'll ask 21 questions, and they all about us

Because there's this little thing called an opinion that other users are allowed to have, and you're supposed to respect our opinions. That's a rule.

If someone makes a thread about, say, Saliva, and someone goes in and starts doing there what we're doing here, it's alright.

Ooh big old Darken Hibwid using scarwee smilies. Help me mommy, the big ol boogieman is after me. Darken? Grow up and stop acting immature, and biased on your own opinion.

Here you want my "fitty cents?". No? Too bad.

As dilated peoples said: "THERE'S JUST ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY.."

50 Cent is the worst rap artist to ever come across in the past 10 years, because of his unintelligent lyrics and monotone rap voice(sure its because he got shot in the mouth, but maybe that was a hint for him to shut the f*ck up and put the mic down?).

I don't care if I'm offending as rap music is slowly destroying all credibility in the music industry, barely any serious emcees exist in the mainstream anymore(Mike and Sonny being a few of the remaining serious emcees). Thank god for underground, at least those emcees still "keep it real".

I'm sick of this materialistic bullsh*t I hear on tv and radio all the time. Emceeing is supposed to be a game of knowledge and skill. There has been so many talentless sh*ts rapping on the radio in the past decade that it's given rap a bad name. People wont even listen to SERIOUS emcees because the genre has been so tarnished. I can't even escape fake rap music anymore, its all over the f*cking place. MTV, MTV2, you name it..ITS ALL THEY PLAY.

So I say, down with Jay-Z, down with Ja Rule, down with P.Diddy, down with 50 Cent, and down with all these fake ass rappers who care more about the money than the music.

If I ever became an emcee it would be to school these idiots on how its done.

Props to the rappers/rap groups who actually have skills like Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, and my best friend Hydroponikz, who could destroy 50 Cent in a diss song, because he actually knows how to speak english.

*Raises my middle finger* Here's a big "F*CK YOU" to FAKE mainstream rap.

I agree with everything Derek said

A majority of the rappers, including 50 cent, are doing it for one thing, money. Sure, money is nice especially when you can buy jewlery made out of pure gold and roll joints using 100 dollar bills as the paper. But that's not what they should be doing it for. Artists should be doing it for the fans, to entertain them. The fact that they know they've made millions of people happy with their music should be the bulk of their paycheck. But people such as 50 Cent don't give a rat's ass about the fans, they only care about adding to their bank account balance which is already in 8 digit figures. If 50 Cent was to hang out in a CD store, everyime someone would buy his CD, he would see it as a couple extra bucks for him, not another fan who likes his music.

But, even if he did it for the fans and not the money, he's still a dumbass. Crappy lyrics, crappy name. Getting shot in the mouth 9 times ain't an excuse to be writing pure ####. Maybe the 10th bullet will paralyze his mouth and do some people a favor.

man i love 50 cent. his lyrics are really good, and is honestly the best debut album i've heardf rom an artist since linkin park. i love all the beats, but the lyrics are the best. and so what if some rappers rap about "hoes, biotches and rims" cause thats how rappers do it, just same way as rockers sing about life and fear etc. so its just their own language. and there will always be rap haters, so i gotta get over it blahhhhhhhhhhhh

"A biopic on 26-year-old rapper 50 Cent is being developed by The Sopranos writer Terry Winter. The film will chronicle 50 Cent's life from his impoverished upbringing in Queens, New York, to his emergence as an international rap superstar.

The movie will likely include scenes about the death of his mom when he was just 8, his introduction to crack dealing at age 12, his years as a thug and his foray into hip-hop, says MTV. The rapper has been shot a total of nine times."

50 Cent says that he is doing this because he is following Em's footsteps after seeing the success of 8 Mile.

Well, I don't mean to jump the gun about him being a sellout.

But if like LP were to make a movie they'd get slammed for selling out. I guess if you're a rap artist and you make a movie you're not a sellout, but if you're a rock artist you are a sellout.
