A powerful virus is unleashed on the British public following a raid on a primate research facility by animal rights activists. Transmitted in a drop of blood and devastating within seconds, the virus locks those infected into a permanent state of murderous rage. Within 28 days the country is overwhelmed and a handful of survivors begin their attempts to salvage a future, little realizing that the deadly virus is not the only thing that threatens them...

This sci-fi/thriller movie comes out on June 27, 2002. Critics say that it's scary as hell. To view the trailer click here (http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/28_days_later/medium.html). I might see it or just wait to rent it on video.

It looked like a Resident Evil rip-off if you ask me, but it does look pretty scary though.

Considering the same director who directed the movie 'Shallow Grave', which I thought was very well done, not to mention really scary, is directing this movie, I'm really excited. His movies are usually disgusting and frightening, so it looks like an awesome movie! Definitely gonna go with someone though...I'm not usually a scary movie type person :wth:

This movie was already released in the UK (or some other country). and now it's making it's USA release. I think that it was released before Resident Evil... And yes, it does have kind of the same story as the Resident Evil movie. Here's prove (http://www.bensons-world.co.uk/dvd/products/7/7000000078496.asp) that it was released in the UK.

Yeah, maybe so, but the Resident Evil series has been around since God knows when.

I just saw the 6 minutes clip. It was pretty creepy. Looks like 28 days later is another classic like The Ring.

Okay, I just saw the movie a few hours ago and it was really something. It was way better than your average American thriller movie cliche' piece of crap like Wrong Turn, Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, etc.

This movie was really grusome. Those English people really get bloody and killer when it comes to scaring.

I won't spoil anything this time but let's just say eating and watching this movie ain't too good. If you're easily nauseated, do not watch this, okay?

I give it a nice 8/10.

I wonder if I could drag Melissa out to see this. *thinks* I'd probably get my arm all dug to hell because she doesn't like scary movies, but I don't care! :-D

I finally saw the movie. It's a great movie over all. For me it wasn't the best scary movie or "scary as hell" but it was still kinda scary. (If I saw it in the theaters it would have been much better....) I like how the story was developed. I also noticed great acting by the main characters. I also liked the fact that the movie went to the main plot sooner then I expected. Some downs: the music was repeatly heard throughtout the film, and it wasn't my taste too. I'd prefer to listen to some rock within the movie. Since the movie is British it was kinda hard to understand the words with their accent. But it was ok. Afterall, I loved watching this film. Here's my rating: 8.9/10. :)

This movie made 257% more money than it used to make the movie.

It's probably more now, because I read about that like 2 weeks ago.
