Ok, so we've heard all about Day of Defeat and CS,
but we forgot TFC!
TFC is a multiplayer mod that comes with Half-Life. The scenerio is like this - 2 teams and different characters with different weapons, and tons of fun...
It works on the principle of capture the flag with the exception of a few (Hunted - Where you have to snipe out a president)

The classes are as follows
Scout - Very fast - used for annoying and flag stealing
Soldier - Medium everything, has an rpg (rocket propelled grenade)
Demoman - Has 'pipe bombs' and huge demo packs which can be used to blow holes in stuff
Medic - Heals team, infects enemy with virus
Pyro - Fire rockets,flamethrower and fire grenades
HWguy - Fat, moves slow, but has a huge chaingun
Engineer - Builds sentry guns
Sniper - Snipes people
Spy - Dresses up like enemy team etc
