KŠton

Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington has been hospitalized in the Los Angeles, CA area after suffering "severe back and abdominal pains". He was admitted to a Los Angeles, CA area hospital for the ailments this past Friday and as a result the band will be postponing or canceling their European dates from June 07th through till June 23rd. A spokesperson for the band recently commented on the situation, saying:

"All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this month as we make sure Chester fully recovers. We wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his condition. All get-well wishes can be sent to Chester via e-mail at chester@linkinpark.com.""

:o Awww man, I really hope he recovers alright. I don't care if it means him skipping Summer Sanitarium, meaning LP a no-show, because his health is a lot more important. Get well, Chester. Thanks Keaton for the news.

I wouldn't get all worried and concerned just yet. I mean, we don't know if it was true. And about saying it's because he's drinking and smoking - I thought he quit drinking like, last year sometime?

Anyway, I'm not going to worry about this until LinkinPark.com posts about it. Poor guy's going to get flooded with e-mails asking for him to get well soon, and he probably isn't even ill. LOL.

Am I the only person who read that he quit drinking in the Rolling Stone mag last year?

I read something like that online.. Not in Rolling Stones Mag. or from RS.com either.. It might have been on LPA actually..

well if it is true, i hope chester gets better. if it's not...then people need to stop giving false rumors.

as for quitting drinking, even though he quit, you never know if he'll go back. it's much harder to quit drinking because after one drink you can go back into a relapse.

WTF guys?! LPA doesn't post rumors, they post facts with back up. For crying out loud, check theprp.com. It's listed right in the first post. Doesn't anyone read these days? <_<

Also, check this link:

1. Keaton : congrats on making it to the news page!
2. I've never heard of Chester being an alcoholic, I know he experimented alot in his teens and that he drinks a beer or two every once in a while. I also read that he gave up drinking for Draven. It's back and abdominal spasms, not alcoholism.
3. It's on MTV.com too, if you doubt PRP, then you know it's true when MTV dedicates a big news article to it.
4. I hope Chester gets well soon.

You'd actually be surprised, he's changed a lot. When we were banning him it was because (if I remember right) of school, so after he explained everything to Derek we got the situation under control and we're giving him a second chance.

Plus he's doing a damn good job helping enforce some of the rules just like you are.
