I never liked DMX and now I like all his music. The same is happening now with Jay-Z. I never liked his music and know I'm starting to like his music.

Edit: I didn't like Rock music either until Linkin Park came to my life.

Same, only I didn't like Eminem and it was P.O.D. that opened my eyes when I saw their video for "Alive."

I always hate a band or group before I like them. It's happened with almost every single group/band/singer I've listend to.

And LP are what got me into 'rock' music. My girlfriend can also be given credit because she'd send me P.O.D. and Incubus songs and I couldn't help but listen. Fell in love.

whoa same here, except it was the whole Fundamental Elements... album and uh Linkin Park that made me realized how much Rap sucks after Tupac&#39;s demise.

Every rock band before Papa Roach. I was such a pop and rap lover back then... I used to listen to all the pop singers, and like, Eminem, Dr.Dre, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, etc. and now that I look back at all the mp3s I had in my Napster music folder, it&#39;s all pop and rap in front (when sorted by downloaded date), and the rest is rock after I heard Papa Roach&#39;s "Last Resort" :D.

believe it or not i used to not like linkin park when they came out with "one step closer" but once "crawling"came out i was like holy sh&#33;t this is awesome&#33; i used to listen to alot of "pop" music before linkin park also..then i found out who limp bizkit was..


i used to not like incubus too but when i listend to all of morning view..they became one of my favorite bands..

I used to like Rap, Punk and Metal: Blink 182, Dr. Dre, Metallica, KoRn, Jimmy Eat World, Snoop Dogg, Nirvana, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and Linkin Park.. But lately (The past 2 years) I&#39;ve stopped listening to Rap and now I mostly listen to heavy stuff.. I still Listen to: Linkin Park (Obviously), Metallica, KoRn, Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit alot.. Not much Punk anymore either..

I really dis-like most Rap now :rolleyes: I like Mike Shinoda, The X-Ecutioners and a few artists off Reanimation..

I think Limp Bizkit turned me more Rock/Metal..

A lot of rock bands. I can&#39;t believe I used to only listen to crappy rap (well, Nas, DMX, and 2Pac are decent). The only band I used to like was Nirvana. LP was the first rock band that I started to really love, and I used to hate Metallica, not because I hated any of their songs, but because they were a rock band. I never used to like Korn or P.O.D., but times have changed

broken fist, i actually felt the same. the only reason i didn&#39;t like linkin park was because all the little teenies liked them and i didn&#39;t like going with the crowd. now that it&#39;s not as intense and i realized that their music is much more kickass that i shouldn&#39;t worry about what other people think, i love &#39;em to death XD

also a band i used to hate and now like a lot is KoRn&#33;
