The answer is "soda," by the way.

Pop. Soda makes you sound lame.

I've changed my mind. The correct answer is anything but "pop." I'll crush that afterbirth of a word if it's the last thing I do.

I'm from the Midwest and everyone here calls it pop. I, on the other hand, call it soda.

Soda makes more sense to me. Pop just makes you sound stupid.

I had to go with some other goofy shit, since I call it both. Soda Pop. Almost always.

I love how "soft drink" is the legit name (I even used it in the poll question), but I didn't even make it an option, haha. I just assumed that everyone predominately used some slang term.

lol it sounds weird. Its so drawn out. "i'm gonna go get a soft drink." it just doesn't roll of the tongue right.

Well, the important thing is that people don't call it "pop." The fact that it's sitting in last place in the poll just make me more optimistic about the state of the world.

Yea yea back in Trinidad we say soft drink, Sweet drink, SEE drink, c- drink and Cokes short for Coca Cola.

Jordan

I don't see why anyone would need to say "soft drink" or "soda" or whatever. Ten times out of ten I say "I'mma get a coke", "I'mma get a sprite".

No one calls it soda or pop over here in London. In other parts of the UK they might call it that though.
