Well, maybe this could be very interesting or you think its a fake
seriously, i dont know what i should choose
its just, i cleaned up my room and broke my cupboard accidently.
So i needed to put out my things of it.
I found a fullyscratched CD, but i was curious whats on it
there was nothing besides the song

Fort Minor - Get Me Gone

well i thought "okay, well the cd is now in it, lets listen to get me gone :3"

but its a weird version
kinda extended

and i swear i never made an extended version
and no one made on for me
but i know that i burned this cd on my own
from where i have this song... i dont know oO

well here is it

http://soundcloud.com/xlawliet/fort-minor-get-me-gone-lost

i called it lost version cuz maybe you know what version it is
listen to it
and enjoy

besides that
after this i want to make a mashup with points of authority with get me gone lol
whatever there you go :D

sounds like a demo to me, doesn't really make much sense without the intro talk though, so I like the original version better

It's not extended at all, just the talking intro is gone, and if I remember correctly there are a couple points where you can hear laughing during the rap in the album version.

This is certainly interesting. Probably just a fan edit, or a demo before Mike put the talking part in. Fan edit is possible though as instrumentals of FM did leak a few years ago.

Dunno if it could be a fan edit, since the laugh tracks are gone (like after the "infer" line)

This is interesting, I actually just listened to it a second time more closer. Mike's verse vocals sound different, yet the end part is exactly the same.

This version is definitely a smoother rap, I don't know. Smoother rapping, no laugh track, no intro talk...

Well i like it
do we already know if its a demo or a fan-edit?

*EDIT* Adam is unsure, so I just hit Mike up on twitter. Since he follows LPA, he should see the @mention quickly, and hopefully he'll give a quick "fake" or "real" response as a reply to clear the air hah.

Soooooooooo what happened?

Conspiracy theory: Derek was silenced to cover up the true origin of the mix.

Adam had no idea (as he started after Fort Minor) and I haven't heard from Mike yet on twitter, hope I do.

I think it's now become accepted that it's something from the DVD. I don't think it's a demo.

Not even on the background anywhere, maybe while Mike is talking?

nope,But it might be on the fort minor militia dvd.
Edit:It's not on the militia dvd.
However there is a FORT MINOR The Rising Tied (2005 Taiwanese limited edition 2-disc set) that might possibly have the track playing in the menu of the dvd.
you can see it here http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=353827
this is just a guess though.

Why would this be any different to the normal US, UK, AU or Japanese release DVD?

The Taiwan release comes with a extra bonus track [20. Petrified - Los Angeles Remix] and the DVD has the music videos
1. Believe Me 2. Petrified 3. Remember The Name
instead of The Making of the Rising Tied.
