Enter The Matrix

Enter The Matrix is the new video game that came out yesterday for all 4 (i think) consoles (PC, PS2, GC and Xbox). The game is based on the 2nd and 3rd installations of Matrix series, Reloaded and Revolutions. You get to play as Niobe, Jada Pinkett Smith's character or Ghost, a chinese martial artist (i don't know the actors name). Both characters have different perspectives on the main spot (example: niobe drives and ghost shoots for one scene). The game features over 1000 different moves (in many forms of martial arts) and has great gameplay and graphics. There's a matrix button that you can press on your controlelr which makes bullet-time come up and allows you to jump much farther, aim in slow-motion, and dodge bullets. You must play this game, you can run on walls then kick someone, attack from behind, and much more. There isn't a thing you can't do in this game.

Yeah, im buying it probably next week (for XBox). At GAMEFAQs.com (I post there too), they say it isnt so great but its ok. Im gonna buy it anyway, it looks cool.

th actor that plays Ghost is Anthony Wong.

i thought this game would be sh!t, but while reading about it in TIME and NP i've grown an extreme liking for the game.

I'm going to get it for PC. I hear that if you play the game, Reloaded makes a lot more sense.

I just rented it today, it is really awesome. I cant believe how much you can do in this game.

I just got this game this morning. It is so awsome. You can do SOOO many diff. moves, and its just like the movie. The graphics are good too. Im still on the first level, and I heard it gets a lot better. You must get this game, especially if your a fan of The Matrix.

Just don't get it for PS2. Many copy's are apparently glitched because of crappy DVD's. It's a great game however, Many people over at gamefaqs.com are ripping on it saying it's bad, but I think it's pretty good. You think it's easy making a game that can live up to a movie like the Matrix? Even though you can't play as Neo, it's still very good. And that hacking part is pretty cool too.

No problem, my PS2 version works fine, it just seems to be some of them. I also heard they might be recalling some of the defective copies and giving out a version 1.1. I don't know if that's true or not, but thats what my friend says.

Trust me when I say it's not a failure. They worked hella hard putting lots of money into this. This game was done like no other game in history.

The fights and shootouts in the game are like no other in any game before. I love doing a cartwheel while unloading a shoot gun on a room full of cops, then running on the wall and kicking someone in the face. What a great game... :D

where'd you find Reloaded? it's virtually impossible to download it off IRC, it's blocked.

Does anyone else's PS2 version freeze at the part where Ghost is fighting the Agent in the Helicopter?

Max Payne was a good game. but for bullet time I'd choose Dead to Rights because it's better but the game gets so damn difficult.

i got it for the pc, but my game was bugged out the hoo hoo hole, so i am taking it back and getting a diferent copy, but from what i could tell so far, the game is off the chain

i heard that the game ties in with matrix reloaded too. can't remember where from though... :chemist:


anyways i'm planning to buy it whenever i have the $110 saved up for it. lol. :wth:

It does tie into reloaded. For instance, lets say neo is in one room fighting someone in the movie, you might be in another room of the same place trying to help him out. The plot intertwines with one another.
