I'm sure most of you have noticed that our mp3s don't work. This is not a technical error on our part, but in fact a bittersweet realization of how many people are coming to our site. We've noticed many people are angry that our media section doesn't work and we are as well, which is why we need your help. Everytime someone downloads from your site, it takes away from a monthly meter called 'Bandwidth' and with so many fans downloading their favorite songs means it's very hard to keep it stable.

We're looking for generous fans to donate a host and give back to the LPA as we've tried to give to all of you. Our excluisve tracks like reanimation instrumentals and 'In Yourself' were tracks that we had when no one else did and we'll continue to bring as much as we can to the fans, but we need a host to place these media files on.

If you'd like to help us, send an email to alex@lpassociation.com and let him know. We have more things that very few people may have, but until we get a host there's no way we can release them. Thanks for visiting, the LPAssociation.com

all I gotta say is my site, forgotteninfantry.com, was shut down by Warner Brothers and I almost faced leagal penalties for harboring copyrighted mp3s. I urged LP Association to not break the law and abide copyright infringement laws by keeping mp3s off the site. WB is cracking down on this and you guys shouldn't get mixed up in it.

Just because an artist urges you to download a song or media, doesn't mean the record label OR the RIAA are saying the same thing. There is a difference.

I'm sure if it were up to bands, they'd let people download their music (some of them), but not the record labels and companies. They're too damn money-hungry to let it go.

An example of a band that wouldn't let you download their music is the money hungry buggers; Metallica.

Do you have a fetish with reviving old threads? This one is over a year old.

Do not revive a thread that's this old again please. This thread has been inactive for over a year. You will be warned if you do not cease with the 'necroposting' (posting in long inactive threads).

Please do not post again until you've READ THE RULES and actually understand them, because you clearly skipped reading them when you joined the forums.
