Gas prices are on the rise and they're pretty much a pain in the ass. How much is gas where you live?

It's currently $3.85 where I live in Delaware.

$1.30/litre in Thompson, Manitoba.

Works out to just a hair over $5/gallon.

It's a good thing I drive a whole three minutes to work every day, and that's about it. $60 to fill up a Civic is just plain ol' fucked up.

It's ranging from $3.76 - $3.89 here in Florida right now. Sorta sucks cause I drive a whoooole lot. But at least we're not at $4. Yet.

Around $3.50 here. Ridiculous.

Wow. really guys?

It's, when I last checked, $4.21.

I personally thank the 35.2c California Gas Tax.

edit: And those aren't by the freeway.

It's around EUR 1.20/litre here in Serbia

It's around 1.39 on average per litre here in the UK which is around $2.29 (according to the latest currency rates).

I don't drive and I probably wont start any time soon with those sort of prices.

Oh how walking everywhere is bliss at times.

Last time I checked, here in Pensacola gas prices are about $3.90.

Yeahhhhh, not a great time for me to have to learn to drive out of necessity. :/

$3.89 here in STL. And my car requires premium so that's an additional 30 cents/gallon. I spend about 50 bucks a week in gas. Unfortunately, if I moved any closer to work, I'd be in the ghetto, so I'm stuck where I am. >_<

Like 3.85 where I am...fucking blows.

Not that any of those prices are good, but I'd much rather have those than the California gas prices. It's about $4.21 here, and rises a few cents each week. We'll be hitting $5 a gallon in no time.

You Californians are starting to creep towards Canadian prices there!

Also, $1.81/litre ($6.84/gallon) for Jet-A the last time I had to use the company card to get gas at a place we didn't have an account set up. Typical loads are somewhere in the 300-400 litre range (that's the uplift), depending on where I'm going..we land with around 1000 pounds (540 litres) in the tanks after every leg. On a typical day, I go through around 2200 litres of the flammable stuff per day (that's around $4,000 in gas)

Not cheap.

Be happy that this is all you're spending. I'm looking at $61.00 every week.

It's $3.70-$3.80 in OKC/Stillwater. Not cool in a 06 Dodge Ram.

Half the people in OK are in the Oil industry, and the stupid thing is they say it's all based on speculation, and there's no logical supply and demand variable here. Basically because the Middle East is going through their thing, the oil companies (my dads natural gas don't be mad) jack it up based on speculation.

$4.29 in Chicago... It's getting ridiculous to spend upwards of 50 bucks on gas for the P.O.S. Malibu I drive...

I think it's like $3.95 or something here, or already over $4. It's going to make my birthday trip to Chicago for the Pitchfork Music Festival a real bummer, and bank account killer.

Because you're acting like the oil industry is the only industry that is based on speculation when clearly it's not.

I found this site to show the average gas prices around the nation. http://gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx

Looks like California and Illinois are getting hit the worst.

Getting to Chicago wouldn't be that expensive, I guess, it's getting back to Tennessee that would kill my bank account apparently. Which is just great. Fuck it, I'm still doing it. Even though by July, it'll be worse :(

What travz21 said. But it's okay to be idealistic. You'll realize how much of a bitch life can be and give up on your dreams like the rest of us soon enough.

Well, not me. All my dreams have come true and life has been nothing but a hot girlfriend that loves to play video games after sex to me. But you get the idea. Ah, youth.

Just filled my Civic up (from just before the light went on).

$55.50.

For just under 12 gallons.

Works out to around $4.70/gallon (CAD$).

It's about $1.30 a litre here and it's completely stupid. It costs about $50 for a full tank for my '94 Magna.

Same here, premium is kinda killing me. $1.50/L here at the moment.

We had to give up premium mainly because of that reason and we just had to use ordinary unleaded.

3.79 here now.

There's talk that the national average might be down to 3.50 by Memorial Day.

Looks like you're only giving up a few ponies under the hood tho.

The V6 was effectively the same unit that had powered the luxury KR Verada range since late 1991. Both TR/KR's Astron II and V6 were engineered to run on either normal or premium unleaded fuel, with the respective power and torque outputs on either fuel being: 98 kW (131 hp) at 4750 rpm / 212 N·m (156 ft·lb) at 3750 rpm or *102 kW (137 hp) at 4750 rpm / 220 N·m (160 ft·lb) at 4000 rpm for the 4-cylinder; 120 kW (160 hp) at 5500 rpm / 235 N·m (173 ft·lb) at 4000 rpm or 124 kW (166 hp) at 5500 rpm / 244 N·m (180 ft·lb) at 3000 rpm for the V6.

$1.35/l here now in Thompson (for regular).

At work, Jet A is over the $1.75/l mark now, and avgas is even more (almost two bucks). Murder, I tells ya.
