I never really noticed it until lately, but I've realized that in some of LPs songs, the lyrics they write talk about the sun. Is there suppose to be a meaning behind the reason they use that word a lot?

a few of the songs for example are papercut, shadow of the day, a place for my head, forgotten, by myself (demo), dedicated, wretches and kings, and a probably some others that I can't think off the top of my head.

I love their lyrical writing, I just find it very interesting!

Chester is a pagan who worships the sun. I thought it was a well known fact.

He even said it in an interview for Rollingstone Magazine a couple of years ago:

The sun is important. Why write about women when you can write about the thing that runs our world?

Don't forget A Thousand Suns. They are clearly obsessed with the sun.

We do. Women > The Sun. I predict that LP's next album will be called A Million Women. :kappa:

idk.. but this made me think of esauls lyrics.. "soon the aztec moon will heat my room..."

it could just be a coincidence or they just really like using the sun in a metaphorical sense. these guys love their metaphors.

Why would she have any reason to joke around? I know skepticism is a great thing to have, but this chick runs the LPA wiki for crying out loud.
