Hey guys I was watching the DVD again that came with Meteora and I around the part where Chaz says "Some of the things me and Mike talk about, are things that shouldnt be talked about with other people" there's a quick shot of a lyric sheet. Well upon pausing it, this is what I got:
Thoughts that take away my pride,
Trapped in places deep inside,
Memories I have come to fear,
And I cant make them disappear
[Thoughts like these return to me]
Thoughts that take away my pride,
Trapped in places deep inside,
[Memories trapped inside of me]
Memories I have come to fear,
And I cant make them disappear.
--
It's the whole part that chaz sings in the "DAAHH!, DAHHH!" part. Just thought I'd share it with the visitors of the LPA :).

Hopefully. When Chester sings that on the DVD it sounds like it would be an awesome song. Hopefully it will be released sometime.

Will we also maybe hopefully hear that song that Rob was recording for with the really cool piano part in one of the LPTV episodes? maybe those are 2 different songs, which are the unreleased demos?.........someone should investigate this

When I first heard that I couldn't get it out of my head for days. I dunno why they didn't put that one on Meteora.

Note that I said early stages. The drums are the exact same as they are in "Numb," but the piano is slightly different. Ever hear of a demo?

If it was recorded in the studio, and didn't make it onto the album, it IS a B-side...

Demos is stuff recorded before you go into the studio.
The only two demos that exist now are demos from Breaking the Habit, and Faint.
QUICK FACT TIME: Both BTH and Faint had Dave Campbell arranged the strings for both songs, and it's also strange that both still have demos that still exist.. OMG CONPSIRACY!!!111

he doesn't have them.
wow, those are the 2 demos? how'd you find that out? i'm guessing it's just like the original songs but with computer generated beats instead of orchestra strings.

It you're talking about the low tone, then yeah, it's piano. But the high pitched tone sounds like brad picking at the guitar.

Okay, I think you guys are talking about the song where Chester is recording the vocals and then messes up and goes "Dah...DAH!" But there's a really amazing song without vocals. It's during Rob's portion of the DVD and on one of the LPTV episodes. There's guitar, piano, and kick-ass drums with lots of cymbals. I think the room was dark blue with candles.
Rob: "Every take you do in the studio needs to be 1000%; the way you would want it to be listened to over and over again on the album."
Mike: "He's really fast and really tight. Last couple of times we had him in the studios to record, he only took 3 days - 4 days. This time, we're figuring probably about 4 or 5."
