View Full Version : CHART Scores a Deal With the LPA

If any of you have had the chance to browse the main page of LPA.com recently you might notice that there is a nice pic of Mike on CHART magazine in our network area.
This was because LPA recently had the honor of CHART magazine contacting us themselves with a nice cash-free offer. The deal managed to keep our proud accomplishment of not making money off the LPA. No money was included in this deal, just free advertising of this amazing issue.
We urge anyone who has issues of CHART magazine in thier area to go and check it out, who knows..maybe we'll get featured in next months issue if you guys help enough!
I just thought I'd post to assure you guys that the LPA has not sold out, nor will.
This was just a cool offer by CHART magazine, and we felt so honored that they'd ask us to do this, that we accepted.
Thanks for visiting the LPA!

Hey, if you guys ever wanna write into Hit Parader or another rock magazine, begging the LPA gets featured, be my guest.
You don't have to tho, I just know I'd crap my pants opening up Hit Parader(they have a "Sites & Sounds" section that features hot rock related websites/fansites) and seeing the LPA as a big mention. I'd be like WOW!
Hmm maybe I will someday, I mean if the magazines are coming to US that has to mean something.

It might be, Chart may have contacted a few top Linkin Park fansites.

That's because all the staff on there is very busy with LP related crap, some even with LPU.
They need to hire people who aren't busy.

This website has been very successful. ^_^ You guys got contacted by a magazine, that's so kool. I think that this website will become the biggest LP fan site ever, although right now it is. And could be on a connection with Linkin Park themselves and LP.com...

Well, LPA is the best fan-site. That's sad, 'cause LP.com really sux. I mean, they post tour news once a month, have that sh!ty newscaster and the design is... never mind.
Well, only the fact that Chart contacted u guys is fabulous, no matter if this happened with other sites 2. LPA will be the best for us no matter what.

I'd MUCH rather stay here and work than go there to LP.com. We went from 200,000 visitors per month in November to 7.6 million in March, that's a rather huge success story.
I'll be here as long as I can be.
By the way, I only think they hire Sparkart personnel to be administrators on that site, even if i got a moderating job there, I'd still only be able to moderate the boards and not post news. Those forums are full of idiots anyways, this place is 10x better.

we're going a little off-topic. Chart Magazine has their own show on canadian tv called "Chart Attack". It's all rock and nu-metal videos, making it my favorite music video show. Thee's been lots of Linkin Park spotlights too. I think I'm going to buy this Chart issue soon.

Sadly, yes. But I was flicking through the channels and I came upon it, so I started watching it.
Yes indeed most LP sites on the LP.com links got the deal (sorry i didnt tell you that Derek) but it looks like were going to have a longer future with any future promos they do.

Good. I wanna be Hit Parader tho..despite the fact they have really small articles, they've been around a long time..so being featured in the "Sites & Sounds" section would rock.
