Just throwing a thought out here for you guys:
If we here at LPA, were to somehow arrange a LPA Meet And Greet sometime in late spring or early summer of next year...and if this meetup would take place in the eastern United States, how many of our members here (either in the US, Canada, Europe or other countries) could we depend on to attend this meetup?
As of right now absolutely nothing is definite or set up, but we are looking to gauge reaction or interest among our forum members. If we get a huge reaction to this, and a lot of people say they would definitely attend...there might be a possibility for us to hold the first ever LPA meetup. It's something we've wanted to do for a few years now, but didn't get serious about until recentely.
So therefore the question remains:
If we build it, who will come?

I would need a ride  I don't imagine a city/state is decided yet, but it's more convient for the east coasters like you, andrea, arlene, etc. because ya'll live on that side. I'm in the south, that's a long drive.
color me intrigued, though. don't know how many people would want to meet me, though. but regardless, good idea.
I'm really, really poor but it'd be pretty neat to meet up and go to an LP show or something. But again, financial reasons may prevent this.
i would if the meeting takes place in jacksonville

Free airline tickets ftw.
(oh and by the way, HELLO EVERYONE! Been a while. No more absences, I promise  )

It would likely happen in the Northeast, if it did happen. But we need a lot of definite yes's before we order a banquet hall.
I'd like to if I could but that'll probably be very unlikely.

Give me more than 19 seats and I'll give you a deal
Too bad it'd probably take like, two fuel stops and a pain in the ass, with the lawn dart I fly now
I would definitely try to make it. But first, I want to see if I can handle being on a plane for an hour and a half, when I go to San Diego in January, If I can't handle that short flight, flying 3000 plus miles would most definitely be out.

Chances are, I wouldn't want to be in your lawn dart anyways. Regional jets are bad enough

I'm sorry I couldn't spare enough money because I'm hardcore saving atm. But would be happy if I were to win some sort of competition for a trip for a meetup - all expenses paid.

I would be down for a meet up, provided I'm not busy if/when it happens.

Banquet Hall wouldn't really be necessary. I'm sure any public place would do, and if everyone's of age you could have it in a pub. Hahaha.

Further to the whole trip idea: if I end up driving, I'll offer a ride or two, as long as you can stand being stuck in a Civic with yours truly for hours at a time. Of course, that'll get firmed up closer to the actual dates. But the offer's open. I accept beer for payment
edit: @Mark: I like that pub idea. More beer means a happier me.

Drive? Winnipeg to Philly (or somewhere around there)? That's going to be a long drive. I drove from St. Louis out to Derek's and that was bad enough
My ride out there will be a 737 painted blue with Southwest's logo plastered all over it ;)

I've done 45 hours without stopping. 'Cause I'm hardcore like that. Yeah.
but seriously, it was victoria-edmonton-winnipeg, all in one long shot. red bull is my god.
I would try and make it but obviously I'm on the west coast at the mo and I might even be back in England by then so I dunno if it would be possible for me to attend. Plus I'd only go if I were guarunteed a good time and there were alot of people there. There's nothing worse than a dead party.

I'd love to go to australia but I can't for a couple of reasons:
- 24 hours on a plane? I can't stand 10
- I have yet to find the formula for growing money on trees

I'd take living in the U.S over living in countries where minimum wage is less than a dollar a day, but that's an entirely different arguement.
Anyway, I'd show up to a meet and greet if it was somewhere in the pacific northwest
