The Palin family continues to grab headlines, and once again it has nothing to do with politics.

This time it surrounds Sarah Palin's sister-in-law, Diana Palin, who was arrested on Thursday for allegedly burglarizing a house.

Not once, but twice in a matter of days.

And she reportedly brought her 4-year-old daughter along for the heists, according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Citing an affidavit filed Friday, the Alaskan newspaper reported that Diana Palin (half sister to Sarah Palin's husband, Todd) was caught by the homeowner, Theodore Turcott, who was hiding in his bathroom with a gun. He found Palin going straight to a bedroom cabinet where he had kept his cash in the past.

Turcott has been robbed several times in the last few weeks. He lost $2,200 in a robbery on March 26, and nearly $400 on March 31.

Palin's four-year-old daughter, who had been waiting in a 1993 Toyota Camery during the Thursday incident, entered the house shortly before police arrived as the scene, the prosecutor stated during a hearing on Friday. The affidavit read that the girl told police she had been to the house days before with her mother. Diana Palin denied this, the Daily News said, and claimed she mistook the house for a friend's place.

According to the Daily News, Diana Palin was hit with felony burglary charges, along with misdemeanor theft and criminal trespass, regarding the March 31 and April 2 incidents.

Governor Palin and her family have declined to comment on the matter.

So? It was her sister in law. Someone who isn't even directly related to her. As in, Sarah Palin did absolutely nothing, and this is not story worthy. Plus, the, "Governor Palin and her family declined to comment on the matter" bit, yeah, duh, what the hell would they say to that? "Oh, uhm, damn sister in law. Sorry about her stupidity." Really?

But the right wing won't shut the hell up about Obama's aunt being in the US illegally

Unfortunately Arlene, Todd has a point. The other side of the media can't get enough of when someone barely connected to Obama does something vaguely wrong.

Well, this actually has nothing to do with politics. More like, disjointed trivia about a person who doesn't really matter.

Todd: Yeah, her being an illegal immigrant and actually related to him is more of a big deal, BUT who really cares? Kick her out. It's not Obama's fault that she's here illegally, like it isn't Sarah Palin's fault that her sister in law is an idiot.

All this shows is that both sides dwell on stupid, petty, irrelevant shit and the populace loves to spread it.

I thought most people figured that out after they tried to kick Clinton out of office for lying about getting his dick sucked by an intern.

Hmm.....I thought Sarah Palin and family were just stupid and used up their 15 minutes of fame last fall? As stupid as these stories are it just legitimizes her stance in American politics and proves she has a good shot at becoming something more than a governor in the future.
