I saw something quite interesting on Dr Phil the other day. There was a woman who came on to say that at the age of 3 her son wanted to be a girl. So the mother granted him to be a girl who now is 8 and loves being a girl. But the father is furious that the mother has allowed their "son" now referred to as their "daughter" to act, dress, and socialise like the opposite sex. Then Dr. Phil did an interview with the "girl" and said that the reason why that being female was the right gender, because "she" didn't feel right being a boy and had always been interested in being a girl. The "daughter" at the age of 3, actually walked up to "her" father and said "I want to be a girl, God made a mistake." This mother is even considering hormone therapy for her "daughter".
Now there is a lot of debate over this and there was one confusion about this topic, some saying that it's a natural instinct and other people saying "When I was three, I wanted to be a horse". And a couple in the audience that said "God doesn't make mistakes, parents make mistakes."

Now put your shoes in your parent's shoes (even for some LPA members you don't have to cos you're already a parent), what would you say to your kid who's three, and wanted to be the opposite sex?
I would say, you were born to be what you are, not what you are not. I would understand it if they made the choice later on in their life but not at three years of age.
