With every New Year comes the occasional New Year's Resolutions, and promises. Did you follow through on your 2008 New Year's promise? Or did you kinda fail off in the end. :D Post them here what they were, and weather you failed or not. Then, When the new year comes, Post your new New Years Promise's here. :)

My promise was to tell the truth or be honest, no matter how painful the truth was. I followed through most of it until I kinda realized that I didn't say I had to tell the whole truth. XD But in the end, I mostly did keep with it. :D

- Stop smoking
- Get back in shape

That's pretty much it.

I've never broken a resolution because I've never made one. I think they're very worthless, and I've only ever known two people to ever follow through with their resolutions: one was to quit smoking, and the other was to eat less meat. Other than that, everyone else breaks their resolutions within two months, and sometimes sooner.

But this year, I'll make a couple:

- Go back to school;
- Get a decent-paying job;
- Move out of the house.

That's about it. I'm pretty sure I can do all three.

This year I'm kind of agreeing with Will - what's the point?

Though, I do have a few things I want to do. One involves somebody and you can probably guess. Two, start up a band (that plan's already been put in motion). Three, try harder at my degree. I'm no idiot, but if I put more effort in I know I can do better than high Credit's and Distinctions.

I don't really like doing this, but there are two things I'm going to make sure happen this year.

- Get a decent job (doesn't really matter what, I'm only going to do it for fun).
- Improve my guitar playing. Now, I still don't want to play in a band or anything like this, but I could definitely use some more practicing.

That's that.

2008 was a terrible year as far as I'm concerned but I'm optimistic that 2009 will be an improvement. This year a few things are gonna change in my life for the better and I'm gonna work even harder at my music projects.
