The Rehearsal studio my band uses is on the road like next to the entrance of the Market. I got about 200 metres close to the fire when it was relatively small but when me and my band had left the fire was pretty huge.

The fire has severely damaged a historic part of North London called the Camden Staples Market. There's already conspiracy theories going around as there was a campaign to destroy the market and redevelop the area.

It was pretty fucked up because I havn't seen a blaze this big up close before.

So the markets are completely gone? That would be a real shame...

Yeah fire can be pretty scary. I have seen and been at a lot of fires so I know how intoxicating they can be when your up close. I hope no one was injured??

Is the whole lot gone? Like the Underworld/Barfly and all the shops?

Or just the market itself?

It's crap that this has happened, hoping no-one was hurt or injured in it

No it's just a part of the Market, a pub and a few houses which were damaged.

It was ridiculous actually because my Mum phoned me in a frantic state asking if I was okay. I was always at a safe distance though but even still my Mum was saying ''get out of Camden and come home!" and I'm like "no...we're gonna walk up to Kentish Town and have a pint". :lol:

Turned out to be a decent night actually. Loads of my friends were at the pub we went to so all was good.

Ooh this is a shame, my friend Jess absolutely loves Camden market so she'll be gutted :\
