After listening to the album, what will the second single be?
I know it's going to be Bleed it Out. I'm pretty sure it will be at least. :P
I really hope it's TLTGYA though.

No More Sorrow.
But Bleed It Out would make sense.

I want Valentine's Day to be the next single, but seeing as they play only Given Up, Bleed It Out, and No More Sorrow live (aside from What I've Done), I highly doubt it. I picked Given Up to be the next single just cause it's the first [non-instrumental] song on the album.

It will be Given Up. There's "radio" written all over it.

I don't want it to be The Little Things Give You Away. It's too long of a song and if it's released as a single, it's going to get cut down on the radio and it won't be as nice listening to it. It's a wonderful song and it deserves to remain as a pleasant surprise to people who listen to another song which is more likely to be on the radio (like Bleed It Out, Given Up, or No More Sorrow) and decide to buy the album.
If I had to make a guess as to what it would be, I think that the next song would most likely be one of the 3 I mentioned above (Bleed It Out, Given Up, or No More Sorrow). I can't really pinpoint a song.
As to what I'd like it to be, I'd like to see Shadow of the Day become a single. It's one of my favorites on Minutes to Midnight and I think it'd make a wonderful single. Maybe that's just me, but that's what I think. But for the poll above, I'm going to put No More Sorrow. That seems more likely.

I have a feeling that it's going to be "Bleed It Out", which would be great.

When I first heard the leak 11 days ago I assumed "Leave out all the rest" would be the very next single, I now think that for sure it will either be No more Sorrow or Leave out all the rest, I'm not sure why I think that, but it make sense...lol
My best guess for second single would be Bleed it Out. It\'s one song i\'ve noticed instant positive reactions for non-fans around me.
My guess for last single will be TLTYGA.
As a wildcard i\'m going to pick Valentine\'s day as a suprise single somewhere in the mix.

My rock radio here already plays Bleed it Out regularly, heard it today, if that's any indication. However, I think Leave Out All The Rest is highly probable for the future as well.

I would like "No More Sorrow" to be a single, but I read that a lot of people want "Shadow of The Day" to be one, so it might be more likely that that one is.
leave out all the rest - it has to be. well in my eyes anyhow
bleed it out also seems like it has 'single' written all over it

Bleed It Out, Shadow Of The Day, And In Pieces should all be singles.

Hands Held High. Cause making a video on it makes sense.

Given Up. they're put it, and What I've Done up on their myspace page, and nothing else.
Not that I think it should be the next single, it should be LOATR.

I have a question, doesen't the label have the final say on deciding the singles?
Because say for example Lp wanted to release Bleed it Out or Given Up as the next single, but Warner said "No you must release Leave Out all the rest". Then they'd have to do it right?
I think the band has really little input on the decision. If you remember back when Meteora was fresh every band member said "We will never release Breaking the Habit as a single ever". "This song is too special to us to be a single and we won't even play it live because Chester breaks down when he tries to sing it each time"....Welp that didn't turn out and I'm guessing Warner put their two cents in eh?
So I see it as a little hard to predict the next single and say this will definitly be the next song no doubt about it, because ultimately it's Warners choice.
I do strongly believe that TLTGYA will be one of the singles somewhere down the line though...lol

... I think it's gonna be Hands Held High. Because it makes sense !
He's talking about what's going on !
And on the other side , it's gonna be Bleed It Out.
I think It's gonna be a rap single , because I think they wanna let to see that rap is still in the album.
AH its probably going to be one of the songs theyve played live. Its either Bleed It Out, Given Up, No More Sorrow. I chose Bleed It Out cause it seems the most mainstream radio popular of the three. (something my head is just following SNL's performance because usually the musical performers play their first two singles as their two performances.) I WANT it to No More Sorrow though.
As for the third single, its probably going to be something soft like LOATR or IP. lol, usually because most record labels want variety of types of songs. Hm...

I don't really want given up as a single i'd much rather no more sorrow

Maybe they should do "Shadow of the Day" seriously. I started to play the album for my mom for the first time today and She's like 60 years old...lol
Anyways, I played Wake, Shadow of the Day, The Little things give you away, In Between and the first part of What I've Done in the car. **Trying to avoid the songs with cuss words on it because it's my mom...lol...
Anyways when we get back in the car the second time She says, "Play that first one again". And I'm like, "The first one with singing in it?" and She says "yeah"....
So I play "Shadow of the Day" again and she is blasting it! Almost blowing out the fucking speakers...I'm totally in shock at this moment...haha
So after Shadow of the Day is over she says play it again! lmao I said no no no you have to hear "In Pieces" now, but She's like.."oh but I love that last one, it's actually an uplifting song and the other one's sound down"....
So if you want to impress your grandma, pick Shadow of the Day Warner....haha
I voted for LOATR, but I have a question, does anyone know around what time the next single be released?
I'm guessing probably 2 months from now. They'll probably shoot the video on their big one month break off after the European tour and have it ready by Projekt Rev I'm guessing.

it has to be bleed it out. It seems more like their old style, and people out there who haven't bought the album yet need to hear another half and half song, a transition track. Then they will hit em with something new such as leave out all the rest

The second single is Given up set to release August 6th and the third single is Shadow of the day set to release in October according to billboard.com.

I think the way Linkin Park release the singles is WID, BIO, LOATR, GU, and finally TLTGYA (with this one they will make sure it is not cut in the radio)
