Minutes to Midnight out in Australia!

Just went into Big W today to find Minutes to Midnight on the shelf. I thought it was meant to come out on the 14th worldwide? Anyway took some pics of the Australian version for you all, problem is I thought there might be a special edition with a DVD but the store people said their was no such thing yet. Looks like i'm buying the album twice :)

Yeah, my mate bought it for me today... Holy sweet sh**, this is an amazing album. It is really odd how we got it earlier then the expected release date,but you just can't rely on expecting the expected with these guys.

I was also wondering where the dvd and other extra goddies were... maybe this is like an early teaser and we will get the dvd version on Monday morning? Who knows.

I have already listened to this album for about 9 hours. It is so addictive. I just with I had an mp3 player to put it on... then I could get a nice six or so hours of this Linkin Park goodness for the next few long whiles. :D

This CD is awesome! I dug out my abandoned ipod shuffle just for it. "Leave out all the rest' is my fav so far, and 'bleed it out' is a fun one for me and mates to jump to like we were back in school..lol

I bought it on friday, I think Target put it out a day early :lol:

And yea, as far as I can see, we aren't getting the dvd version in Australia, which sucks :(

I bought it on Friday too, I pre-ordered from HMV and got a free shirt. :)
The shirt isn't that great, poor quality but has a cool design, although the new logo was done in spray-paint, which I didn't like.

All the music shops had it one sale and circulating on the 11th.

@ chair: Thats odd, 'cos the Sanity/HMV website reckons it was meant to be out on the 12th.
Ah well, point is, we got the album before almost everyone else :P

And I just saw an add for Minutes To Midnight on channel 9. Which really says something about the anticipation for this album, Channel 9 don't even normally run adds for cd's.

Very odd, when I pre-ordered they said to pick it up on the 12th, then I got a call on Friday saying "Come pick up CD, shirts run out soon!!!" a very nice surprise indeed.

I haven't seen any adds yet though, must stay tuned. :)

It came out the 12th, which is a Saturday, and I had work all day AND my parents were busy, so I couldn't get them to pick up a copy for me. And today, well the shops aren't open on a Sunday here >_<

So look like I'll be getting it tomorrow on the 14th. Oh well.

I Went to JB Hi Fi on queen st and there was the limited edition dvd with a hard back book. looks mean. the dvd includes: making of Minutes to midnigh, WID video, Making of WID video, and also lots of exclusive Pics.

I wish someone would list the dvd version on ebay (in australia). I'd be willing to pay more than retail, doesn't look like any store here has it or can get it :(

I guess it's the music that counts, so I guess I'll have to obtain the DVD by alternate means.

I don't think they're going to sell it here, but its possible you can get JB Hi-Fi to import CDs for you.

Wal*Mart sells only edited CDs. Meijer sells Uncensored CDs, but they also have the option of Edited as well (not ALL cds offer the edited version).
