According to MTV.com, Linkin Park will be contributing the 2:24 track ’’Session’’ on the Matrix Reloaded: The Album soundtrack, due to be released on May 6th. While this may be disappointing, this is a very appropriate track to be contributing to the album. The tracklisting for the album is as follows:

.02 This Is The New Shit ~ Marilyn Manson
.03 Reload ~ Rob Zombie
.04 Furious Angels (Instrumental) ~ Rob Dougan
.05 Lucky You ~ Deftones

.09 Calm Like A Bomb ~ Rage Against The Machine

The first single from the album will be ’’Sleeping Awake’’ by P.O.D. Stay tuned for more information on the soundtrack as things may change before it’s released.

ya i sortta dont get it. "session" doesnt sound like something from the matrix. i expected more of a hard song.

I think the tempo should be stepped up a notch through, then this would be perfect. The song seems a bit slow for the Matrix.

this blows! i was hoping for something new with lyrics, something that actually relates the the movie.....ugh!

wait a sec, there's also supposed to be songs from Prodigy and a remix of Disturbed's "Liberate", i read that on rollingstone.com. so this may be tentative or incomplete.

disappointing, yes, i agree. we were all hoping for a new song. but hey, Session is a cool track&#33; and it&#39;s track 1. it&#39;s a good way to start off the soundtrack, imo.

im glad tht it is on the Matrix album..but something heavier like...umm...Don&#39;t Stay or Breaking The Habit would be perfect.

Maybe theyre saving them for the other matrix to be released

well lets hope that there is a unreleased track because i cant get enough of unreleased linkin park songs
