What I've Done vs. Given Up

Personally i like given up a lot more than what ive done so but i was just thinking what everyones opinion is.

And that piece is just finishing my love for that song . In What i've done are the lyrics better , imo. But i just like Given Up more then What i've done..

given up just sounds more what LP are about than what ive done.the majority of the single released are not the better songs they write.especially the first one on each album.it generally is poppy and all that to reel n the new fans watching their channel v and mtv and all the commercial radio stations.given up is heavier and punkier...and has a more earlier LP feel to it then what i've done.it oozes of chester

"Given Up" is better than "What I've Done." So far though, "No More Sorrow" is my favorite track, but I'm waiting for "Little Things."

(First of all I'm New here hey there ! ^^ )I wasn't really sure about it but i prefer Given Up as far as i heard the parts of the song... gut WID is good too ... hope that they can balance this songs with the directios of hard/soft on the album like "Numb" and "Faint" f.e.....

I like Given Up more then What I've Done, but I don't like the screaming part in Given Up. Nanana's in What I've Done are really great.

okay this is how is it. Given up pawns What I've done, and no more sorrow pawns Given up. They are two great songs but What i've done IMO is the weakest song they ever did.

i like WID Better, i love the guitars and piano in it,

i like listening to Given Up when i am hyper and have energy

but when im just casually listening to songs on my media player i can listen to What I've Done with any mood im in, same goes with No More Sorrow so far

Even though given up is heavy and fun to listen too, i think WID is all round a better song....just because given up is heavy doesn't mean its better :)

I love "Given Up", more than I love "What I've Done." I just guess it's the guitars and the drums that get my attention in the song, right now it's one of my favorite songs, but I don't know how much long it will be my favorite until the album comes out in two weeks. I can't wait for it, :).

Given Up is just a bit better IMO. It's just more my style than What I've Done, although WID is great in its own way.
But No more sorrow sound way better than both previous songs because of the anti war stuff and etc... :shifty:

I actually like What I've Done a bit better because event htough Given up is ill witht he heavy parts, it kinda feels like it's missing something.Maybe something during the verses.It sounds kinda plain there.And what I've done, the only thing they couuld have done better was a solo.But then again the one they had was cool.It was good for the song.

I actually thought What I've Done is their weakest live song ever.
Quite dissapointing actually.
On the other hand, Given Up is awesome live.

Hmm. Had to vote for WID, mainly cause we havn't heard the full studio version of Given up yet.

Dont get me wrong, GU is a terrific song & I'm more likely to play that than WID (mainly cause I'll be tired of WID when M2M comes out) But I think WID is one of their best (not THE best) but one of their best singles. The Piano & Guitar solo & Bridge make it for me.
