I posted on another thread a couple of weeks back asking: What happend to that track called 'Grecian'? Wasn't it comfirmed on a LP newsletter or somthing similar? I'd be really curious to see what became of that track as it had such an interesting title.

There was another one too: 'the drum song' I think. Likewise with that.

And we all know 'Accident' became 'Bleed it out'.

The Little Things Give You Away is the "drum song". It's the only song where they mainly talked about the drums.

I believe "The Drum Song" is now "The Little Things Give You Away". Not sure about "Grecian".

Grecian was a song they "stopped working on" in early August and wrote QWERTY instead. Basically, if they hadn't wrote QWERTY at the last minute, Grecian was going to be the new song they played at Summer Sonic. From the way it was worded, it sounds like they scrapped the song at that point so I doubt it was ever even a finished track.

Well, QWERTY isn't finished either, cause it is a demo :P I also don't know what happened with Grecian...

No . I think 'The Drum Song' was the working title, because he said on the recent interviews that he spent a lot of days working on the drums of the song, and then Rick told him to use the demo version. So I can say that I'm sure that song is 'The Little Things Give You Away'

QWERTY studio version = full song recorded at Laurel Canyon mansion during the recording sessions for the album = b-side, not a demo.
