Two bonus tracks on the iTunes pre-orders, but does anyone know if there will be any bonus tracks on any of the 3 versions of the CD? :(

From FMM recently chat :
from the FMM chat:
Airazor: Hey, Mike! On iTunes, there's a tracklisting for MtM, it displays 2 bonus tracks, listed as iTunes exclusives. I'm assuming those two tracks will be featured on the Special Edition. Could you give us info on these tracks? ~Amber
mikeshinoda: i actually don't remember what those are...they're not other songs

I'm going to make a really rough guess and assume the tracks WILL be on both special editions, but from what Mike said, maybe they're just demos or instrumentals? Of a couple of the MTM tracks possibly?

sounds to me like itunes is just including live tracks.
There goes hope of b-sides as bonus tracks.

Hmm, well if they are live tracks, I hope there gonna be worth it, like live MtM songs instead of HT & Mtr songs.

IF:
- iTunes already has selected bonus tracks
- they are not b-sides
- they are live MTM tracks
...then they'll be from the AOL Session thing?

I wonder why the band insists on releasing no more than 12 tracks per 4 years or so.
hmmm well it seems the only tracks will be the aol live sessions which fall under live but i don't know

Just to give everyone an idea of what the different versions give you:
-iTunes preorder - 2 bonus tracks (unknown what they are at this time)
-Best Buy (all versions) - 3 live bonus tracks - What I've Done, Given Up, and No More Sorrow (NOT from AOL Sessions)
-Wal-Mart - 2 downloadable bonus tracks (unknown what they are at this time), "This Wal-Mart exclusive includes a blow in card for 2 bonus tracks to download."
All other versions come with the standard 12 tracks.

yay the mexican is here to help! so i downloaded one of their songs (bonus tracks) and didn't even know it. i couldn't remember where i downloaded it from and it didn't have the name on the file so i couldn't say. but with research i have found the names of the two songs that can be easily downloaded. one of them is "No Roads Left" it's a pretty good song. my alltime favorite LP song which happens to be one of the bonus ones is called Qwerty. it was rumored to be on the Minutes to Midnight album but was not. if searched by Qwerty it wont really be found. i couldn't download it. it is known by "Behind Your Lies" because the chorus repeats it a lot. you will most likely find it under that name. there is actually another song that i have downloaded but the file had an error and i can't listen to it all the way. it's a slow song but REALLY good. i wish i could find that name for you guys but i can't. as soon as i do i will notify you. i hope you enjoy the bonus songs. thank the mexican

So the only real B-Side is "No Roads Left" at the moment?
I thought the band said that they are going to put earlier versions with alternative vocals for the albums tracks somewhere, possibly the collectors edition DVD.

look up "Behind Your Lies"
my favorite song. it's the more alternative bonus song. it's REALLY good. yeah i also knew that pretty much everyone has heard No Roads Left. but you guys asked what songs were the bonus songs. i just answered from MY knowledge. i THINK those are the bonus tracks. dunno. :P all i know is that they aren't in their albums so ...yeah :)

There is no song called "Behind Your Lies", I think you're thinking of QWERTY.
QWERTY is technically not a b-side to the album, since it was a song the band wrote on a plane ride to Japan so they could play it live. They recorded it for LPU's 6th year CD, but not for the Minutes To Midnight sessions.

Behind Your Lies is just a fan-site name for QWERTY, and it wasn't a bonus on MTM; it was on the LPU 6 CD.

Isn't that just QWERTY?
