Thanks in part to the news of a new Linkin Park album coming out, the LPA shattered any previous traffic records we had set.
While we didn't reach our final goal of 13 million hits in March, we came very close, ending up with 12,973,591. Regardless, we completely obliterated our previous record of 10 million before Meteora's release, and surpassed our initial estimation of 11.5 million by quite a bit.
We also set a bandwidth usage record in March as well. While we don't know what our previous record was (it couldn't be that much, because on our old hosts, we had bandwidth quotas of around 50 gigabytes and we never exceeded that), we know we set a new one, using 65.84 gigabytes. Up until now, we were using about 35 gigs a month, so we nearly doubled that.
And now, just to show you how much traffic has increased, here are some pretty graphs:

Bandwidth usage for each day in March
Most of the huge peaks were caused by some big announcement or news post, which are shown here. And of course, there's the infamous KROQ incident. February is shown on this graph as well, to show a comparison between March, and a more ordinary month for us.

Hits for each day in March
Not surprisingly, it's the same curve as the bandwidth graph, just with different numbers. Again, the news posts are marked on here, along with February for comparison.

Monthly bandwidth since October
Our stats only go back to October, the first full month since we were on this server, however, this shows how March did compared to a typical month. Total bandwidth is shown, as well as the daily average for that month.

Monthly hits since October
Same deal as the monthly bandwidth. Totals and daily averages are shown.
If traffic trends continue, April looks like it will be an even bigger month, especially as more news and song clips surface. If this is what a 4 year wait for an album does to a fansite, I can't imagine what traffic patterns for Guns 'N Roses fansites look like
Thanks to our visitors for making this possible!
