HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -
Anna Nicole Smith, the voluptuous former Playboy centerfold who married an octogenarian billionaire and waged a legal battle for his fortune all the way to the Supreme Court, died Tuesday after collapsing at a hotel. She was 39.
The blond bombshell — who recently became tabloid fodder all over again after the sudden, apparently drug-related death of her 20-year-old son — was found was unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, said the attorney, Ron Rale. She was rushed to a hospital.
The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

She was a good lady. She inspired so many by how much weight she lost, what the hell. This sucks.

Was that really a respectable, nor a necessary thing to say? Reports are showing it was a heart attack as she had felt sick the night before. She might not have committed suicide at all.

And honestly, I wouldn't blame her if she did. She felt responsible for her son's death because she felt she could've stopped him, and she had all these legal battles piling up on her. Lawsuits + Death of her son = One very unhappy person.
She probably was overstressed with a broken heart. If she did indeed kill herself, she did so over a broken heart which is a terrible thing to know.
This was just on the news. They don't know why she died, but it's official that she died.

Honestly, my first thought was, "God damn, they're going to find something in TrimSpa that kills people. Let the lawsuits begin!"

I really think it was suicide sadly. You take a look at her last interview and she seemed distraught. I don't want to disgrace her death by saying this, but I think she took her own life.
So tragic, especially since she wasn't even 40 years old =\.
Wow. I didn't believe this when it was flying around school today, but when I got home and saw it on the news, I thought, "God, it's been bad for the celebrity world lately". This is at least the third shocking death I've heard of, following Steve Irwin and James Brown. Part of me is just kind of mellow because these people were a part of my every day life, and it's sad to see them go.
Everyone had their theories, some reasonable, others...not so much. Anyway, I'm with Derek and Todd. It's likely it was a suicide, as much as I hate to say it.

I think it was a coke overdose. No way that TrimSpa helped her lose that much weight. Even my mother agreed with me, and she used to work at LA Weightloss.

Well this was a complete surprise to me when seeing it on the news earlier. Living in Britain we don't know as much about Anna Nicole as the Americans do but she seemed like a perfectly nice woman from what i've seen.

Actually, I think it was a Methadone overdose. Her respiratory system just stopped working, that seems like a sedative sort of effect.
It doesn't really matter though. It's just sad.

Sure she was all with the bad publicity lately, but this is absolutely tragic. Poor Danielynn, what's going to happen to her now? RIP Anna Nicole Smith.

She was recently ordered to have the DNA of her baby confirmed by the courts, and fearing that the baby was fathered by another man (or perhaps even knowing so), I think she ODed.

She'd apparently attempted suicide before, by means of drowning herself in her pool. She was found by Stern and CPR was successfully performed.
It's really sad to go around hearing everyone make jokes about it, and thinking it's funny that she died. At school today the people were being terribly cruel. I think it's tragic. R.I.P.

The way she died kind of reminded me of how Eddie Guerrero did. Unexpected and highly saddening.
She was one person who had a very tragic life.

its amazing how her life so resembles that of Marylin Monroe, and her idol being Monroe too...........as far as ive heard from the news her death wasnt caused by any illegal drugs nor were there any pills found.....but its her baby that worries me, with all the legal disputes on whose the father, but then again i doubt it would make a difference on who the father is the baby will be taken of well, being Anna Nicole Smith's daughter.

Actually, a few days ago, I was reading that people were already filing lawsuits against TrimSpa and Anna Nicole Smith that included false advertising and unspecified injuries/damages. Then a couple of days later I find out that Anna Nicole Smith died.

I agree with you, too, Skorned. I didn't care for her, either, but what people are doing is just cruel.
