Fourteen Years of Pursuit
I have sought but never found
The answers for I've waited
Each test I'm being thrown at
Are the ones that I've hated
My innocence leaps at every breath
As thoughts take terrible turns
Confusion starts to lurk inside me
As if something that I yearn
Anger builds while fear surpasses
Opportunities come to forgive mistakes
People seek but don't realize
The chances that I take
Honesty smiles when I stop
The pursuit has finally caught up
The red blood has died down
I have found it
