A woman was molested by 70 men on new years eve in front of the Gateway of India, in India's cinema capital, Mumbai. a disgusting sight. and pathetic case. The police does not have a case on their hands because the couple (the victim and her boyfriend who were attacked), haven't filed a complaint. They've been hiding from the media, since.
How sick can molestation get? And in the end, who is to blame? the predator, or the victim?

In India? Yeah, someone who got blatantly murdered in front of a whole fucking pub had to wait 10+ years to get justice.
But in the broad sense also...it's just disgusting. These kind of epople do the worst crimes...it can shatter anyone, worse than being murdered. How the hell can the victim be blamed? NO ONE but the culprit can be blamed, because even a bad childhood/economic crisis or other assorted personal problems doesnt give you ANY reason to devastate another person that way.

Well, that's because you live in Bombay not Delhi...in Mumbai, people can go out in the streets late at night with no fear...its completely DIFFERENT here in Delhi...being out after 8 is just D-A-N-G-E-R-O-U-S.

well. there is no way to stop the criminal being just another ordinary person. girls especially should take charge and well... follow guidelines. sad it is though that the local police in many places, not only india, is corrupt and very slow in taking the required action. the scariest scavengers to me are the child abusers. sick and scary and their punishment shouldn't be anything less than lifetime in jail or death sentence. even the noida killings now. it's horrid. dozens of children were molested and killed. their bodies were dumped into sacks and thrown into the gutter behind the crime scene which was a house. parents complained to the police, but the damned police didn't take action till it was too late and too many children were abused. one of the murderers claimed he was a cannibal.

Molestation is just wrong.. I know how it feels, i was molesed at 12 by my grandad.. sad but true.. in his care aswell while i was already suffering with my parents divorce and sudden move to other side of the country.

Sickening, molesters should be locked up for life, they shouldn't even be allowed to walk the streets, once an offender always an offender.. and sadly, the molested can become the molesters if they molested don't break the vicious circle.

well i guess being the commercial capital of the county has a part in this.....women go out there run businesses...people date here like any american city...public display of affection is pretty much okay here.i don't know really about the rest of india....to be frank i've been to more european cities than indian..:)
