View Full Version : Full Saddam Execution Video Leaked
LINK REMOVED
Someone apparently recorded the execution on their cell phone.
They were talking about this video on the news. I actually saw it a little while after he was executed at my friend's house. It's pretty disturbing.

This was actually illegally recorded. Because they were collecting cellphones from the people who came to watch the execution. And evidently, this person managed to sneak his in.

I heard something about a guy yelling something at him during the execution... I thought it was pretty weird.
I'm not going to watch this, though.

I started to watch it....then I clicked out before anything happened. I just didn't feel right watching it because it's sick and barbaric. He should have spent the rest of his life in jail. Not this.

Do we really need to be linking this?
I'm going to keep my personal politics to myself, but this is no better than watching a man losing his head in a beheading. Seriously, did we have to encourage people and test their curiosity for something such as an execution by giving it its own public thread? It's a horrible thing to watch; don't know why anyone would want to share it. :\
I just personally think this should have stayed one of those "if you're that curious, you'll find it yourself" type of things.
I watched it the other day. Disturbing.
I agree with Andrea that he should have spent the rest of his life in prison.

it would've been more disturbing had it not been for the person's shitty camerawork, though it's understandable seeing as they weren't allowed to bring one in anyway. and, yeah, they should've left saddam in prison. it's just too bad for those societies who haven't left the barbaric means of execution.

It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, but i do have to agree. its pretty insane on what some countries do.
its funny how people make stupid statements like "they should just slice osama's head off!", or "hang saddam by his neck!". its only that americana society bullcrap. now when they actually DO execute someone in a barbaric way, people shun their heads. Im not ridiculing anyone on the LPA forums, its just that here in Texas, people make stupid comments all the time and when somthing IS done, they all shut their mouths. i just dont get it.

When they assassinated Saddam, I had a one word response: "Finally"
Stupid fucking legal red tape...they should have killed him on the spot.
agg..
the video was horrible and I don't wish anyone to die or been executed or anything, but personally, he deserved it.

I disagree. Saddam tortured and killed people everyday during his reign. He deserved this.

He deserved this.
Agreed.
I disagree. Saddam tortured and killed people everyday day during his reign. He deserved this.
Def. agreed with you..
What that heck.. people are trying to defend him, and I understand that, but I bet if president Bush were to do something like Saddam did, then everybody would be freaking around and go after Bush to kill him.. And there would be no excuse.. He deserved. done.
Just face it.. You get paid back for what you have done.

His reign ended so many months ago. The damage was done, and so was his reign. You could have stopped it right there, but instead, you had to kill another person.
He died with dignity. He wasn't afraid of death. If you want someone to feel the pain for what they've done, then let them have it the rest of their lives.
He deserved so much more. His death took less than a minute.
Less than a minute of revenge for many years of his torturing and killing?
I don't see it.
Who the hell would want to put that on their blog?

*sorry, i think it is also barbaric. But he has murdered soo much people*
Edit//
I'm reading here that he filmer of this movie is found and is apprehended.
Edit//
Before he gets hang up, the people are yelling "Muqtada, Muqtada, Muqtada”
Thats a radical sjiitic mental? named Muqtada al-Sadr. His father is murdered by Saddam! I thought if read somewhere, before saddam died, he yells: NOW you dare!

It wasnt thát bad. I would watch it again, but its too boring. They should've put him to jail and let him rot there for the rest of his life. Hanging someone is just too easy. He was killed within a second.
I think the link should be taken off, imo; doesn't seem appropriate.

Some people want Bush to be executed now - just for the Iraq War, and yet Saddam's execution is inhumane.

I dissagree. This is world news. It's the person's choice as to whether or not to watch it.

True, but also it's really the staff's decision in the end.

You could remove the link and just tell people where they can find it if they really wanted to. Like, just give a website name or something, not necessarily a link.

I can imagine this is slurred all over someones myspace, along with the american flag and all that bullcrap. not saying i dont have patriotism, its just that soo many people are into that "patriotic love" that they take it too far.
I know this is a little off topic but Shouldn't we have been flying our flags high and mighty before 9/11? I loved the fact that after 9/11, everyone became the americans that stood before us who died for our freedom. i hate the fact that people are so wrapped up into the "american media" i call it nowdays. They stand by the TV, waiting for the next terrorist attack. its sad really. just move one, and live your life. Shit always happens around the world, but you've gotta start caring about those near you.

I provided a warning tag for a reason. We're not 10 years old here.

It's like right after 9/11, we all became closer than ever but right now, we're more divided than ever...makes me sick in a sense.

True patriotism is dead.
Sad but true. We're almost like fair-weather fans in sports. We support our country when something terrible happens and suddenly we're all running around with red white and blue tattooed to our chests screaming "GOD BLESS AMERICA". But after a month or so that goes away and people are back to complaining about what a horrible country we live in.
It's sick.

I whole-heartedly agree. It is sick what's going on these days. I think it's gotten worse after 9/11 though.

You may not be, but a lot of fans of Linkin Park are. I didn't take off the link because I wanted to be polite and allow you to take it off yourself. Instead, you come back with a nice reply.
Now I'm going to kindly ask you to remove the link. Yes, it's world news, but that doesn't mean the actual incident should be broadcast over the internet.
Same as we don't allow links to leaked records, I'd prefer you not provide links to leaked videos. Besides, if we're not ten years old, then we know how to do a google search and find it ourselves.
