Think about it, if you're a terrorist or not lies in the sanity of George Bush. If he deems you a terrorist, you're fucked, there's no habeus corpus to get you out, straight to jail, don't bother with the lawyer, he can't do anything.

To those of you who voted for Bush in the last election, good job. You've elected a complete fucking lunatic.

And this is why I think it's completely fine to be a socialist fuck.

I went to a Cardinals game in September and hummed Oh Canada when they did our national anthem. And I left my hat on and didn't put my hand over my heart or anything either

And "god bless america" was a great time to take some camera phone pics

lmfao, nice.

I love how I can stand proudly (mostly) while O Canada is being played. =] Not having to worry about what my country's leader is going to do next.

This is why I fully intend to move to Canada someday, preferrably sooner than later. I have a feeling that my liberalness will get me killed someday if I stay here.

Of course, once I move to Canada and become a naturalized citizen, I won't hesitate to spend as much vacation time in the USA as possible just to piss people off. =P

Suggestion: Stay away from Winnipeg. Winters suck there.

I'm not sure if I completely understand what's going on. Does that mean say, if Kim Jong Il were to get more violent, that could mean I, of Asian descent can be thrown in jail on the accounts of simple suspicion? On top of that, they can torture me?

If that's correct... What the hell? Did we just jump back sixty years or so? Eventually are we all going to end up in camps one day again because of our race? I don't see the logic behind this. I hope I just took all that information the wrong way...

I think that's right. I understood it as you can be arrested and tortured for any suspicion. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

In your example, that's pretty much racism. Wonder how that'll go down. Oo.

And people say George Bush is a bad president. [/sarcasm]

The man's insane. Him signing that means that when he isn't a president anymore the next president could say he's a terrorist and put him into jail. And I'd say there are some reasons why George Bush could be seen as a terrorist. XD

I hope that really happens.
I'm sorry for the American people, I hope the next president will have at least some braincells.

Its not even a race thing. If Bush thinks you're a terrorist, then you are a terrorist and lose all rights. If Bush's reasoning for thinking you're a terrorist is that you voted for a democrat and visitied the ACLU's website recentely, that's good enough reasoning

Home of the free if you're an overly patriotic, republican redneck.

I wonder what George Bush senior thinks? Sometimes I just wonder what his father thinks of all the mess his son has created while running this country and if he agrees with the choices he has made.

This move is completely ridiculous, he might as well just set fire to the Declaration of Independence and write a new one if he's going to start doing this shit. I hate Bush and everything he stands for but despite electing him and all this other shit, I'm still proud to live in America.

For the record: I am neither a redneck, nor republican. I think life could be much worse than how we have it here.

Home of the free if you're an overly patriotic, republican redneck.

that has to be the most ignorant statement ever typed by you in my opinion.
sure there are the overly patriotic people (that are not just in the south, but everywhere) in america that think we're better then everyone.
but saying that we're not the home of the free is pushing it.
if we weren't the home of the free, todd would have been sent to a concentration camp for the rest of his life by now. now please stop taking some of the freedoms we still have for granted.

now my opinion on the matter? this has to be the dumbest move the bush administration ever did. but whatever, kerry wouldn't have done any better. it was basically picking between two bowls of shit in 2004.

Home of the free if you're an overly patriotic, republican redneck.

I said something like that the other day.

Only it was "home of the free if you're a radical conservative wasp male"

*sigh*

Netherlands sounds really nice right now.

You never hear anything from them :]

Ok, so this is almost a necropost, but there aren't many threads in this forum anyway and this is kinda related, a federal judge has struck down a post-9/11 executive order that gave the President the authority to designate any foreign group as a terrorist organization:

Maybe all the liberals aren't gonna end up in military prisons after all.

You see I FUCKING told you he was smart. He's turning himself into a dictator. Whilst all the other fuckheads were too busy making video compilations of every time the president mispronounced a word, he was out there fucking over america. He's not the idiot, many citizens are.
