Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback of the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers, was injured today in a Pittsburgh-area motorcycle accident, the team has confirmed to the city's Channel 4 Action News (http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/9356067/detail.html). No word yet on the extent of any injuries.

One of my dad's best friends was killed in a motorcycle accident when he was in his teens. It just goes to show you that helmets need to be a requirement when riding motorcycles. I do hope he gets better, though, and can still perform.

i heard about it the other day.. lets hope he gets better and it doesnt affect his performance in the steelers season

This might affect his season. It might not. He's in a stable condition, but who knows if he'll play.
