there are still people who will want to register who won't leak the album. It isnt fair to punish everyone because a couple people did something dumb

It prevents the idiots from coming in though, doesn't it?

but it prevents other people too...ones that might not want to cause trouble like Todd said...

Added: And plus...it's be pretty annoying if someone wants to register but they can't...they might forget and that could of been a good member. A site is nothing without members...good OR bad... *shrugs*

well said, the staff is just going to need to scour the forums very intently for the next few days.
