my aunt lives out in california and she said there is so much fires and smoke.do anybody here live in california.also can you smell smoke and how bad is it

I used to live in california, there are a lot of fires yeah but it depened where you are living in, like places near the forest you can see sometimes the fires but nothing i have seen.
