I seem to remember hearing this, and basically the logical conclusion I reached is that it's not a Fort Minor song because Mike isn't actually in it. Since it's his project primarily, I'd expect him to be in all the songs.

You can already get the Instrumental for Remember the Name. It does have a little intro with mike saying something, then it just goes into the music.

The beat is from Jay-Z's "Ignorant Shit". Lupe took the beat and rapped his own verse over that. A lot of rappers do that for mixtapes and shit.
