(Reuters) -- Astronomers have detected a planet outside our solar system with not one, but three suns, a finding that challenges astronomers' theories of planetary formation.
The planet, a gas giant slightly larger than Jupiter, orbits the main star of a triple-star system known as HD 188753 in the constellation Cygnus.

That's awesome!! I love how they can go to space and figure this stuff out. I can imagine how hot it must be there. Since the sun here is what like 9800 Degrees or something? It's triple that then. I hope we can keep learning more about space.

It could be only 200C° ;) The 2 other suns are almost like the distance we have on earth, and the one who comes up at the horizon is much closer than the other 2.
@Geki: The sun could be 9800 Degrees, but that doesnt mean that it has that temputare (??) on the planet :P

EDIT: Tatooine was in a binary solar system, so there is one sun too many. I feel like a nerd.

Sweet, I wonder if there is life out there, with special powers. I know it's a kid's fantasy, but it would be pretty cool. ^_^

dang that sounds crazy.
this is why im not worried when people say that the world's gonna end.
thats in some odd billion years away.
by then we will have become smart enough to head on over to these other planets they've found and live there.

I disagree with your signature.
:)
Anyways, I love astronomy, cosmology (don't get that confused with cosmotology), and all of that jazz. I need to read up more on this one.
