TRUSTcompany: Disbands
TRUSTcompany have reportedly disbanded. No official word has come down as of yet.

Kind of abrupt, yet kind of not since their album didn't do so hot...

Honestly, I'm not surprised. I like trustcompany, but their latest could have been better.

Their latest album was good but not as awesome as Lonely Position of Neutral.
I hope it's not true. This is one of my favorite bands and I think it's really shitty when a band splits after one of their albums bombs.
It's about the music kids, not the money.
...but I shouldn't assume. It's probably for other reasons. And hell, we still don't know if this is true or not.

lol, it very well is about the money..... well music is up there too, but if they don't sell the albums, they don't get a huge following on tour(where their real money is) and boom, you gotta disband cuz u have no money to make a new album or do any publicity, or something like that, lol..... it's a vicious cycle
Bah gawd, mainstream rock is dying 1 band at a time.

No offense, but you're extremely naive.
A band forms not for fame, not for money, but for the sake of making music. I doubt that there is a single band who just gets together and releases an album just for money. That kind of band would suck, in real life and musically. And the only reason a band releases an album is to get their music out and show who they are, not to hope they make millions off of it and become sick rich bastards.
And as for TRUSTcompany, I'm pretty sad about this. They are one of my favorite bands. I have not yet bought any of their albums but have listened to much of their music through the internet. Their last album wasn't as successful as it could have been, unfortunately.
I doubt that TRUSTcompany would break up for that reason. That's giving up to easily. There must be some personal reason behind it if them splitting is true.
But as SketchaMPM said, we still don't know if this actually true. For now, this is simply a rumor to soon be confirmed.

That was very well put.
I'm anxious to hear a follow-up on this report.

Well, if the rumors true... that sux! I do like TC, I think their an awsome band. But, truth is, when they released their new album, I didn't even know about it. I haven't heard any of the new songs. I do have their old album though--it's such a great album. It would be a shame to find they're no longer a band. :(
Did TRUSTcompany even go on tour for this new album?
For me, I can only listen to TRUSTcompany's albums for short amounts of time becuase their music gets old and monotonous quickly on me. I'm not devestated by this news, but that's too bad.

Well said, they are no Foo fighters.

I'm not too entirely disappointed in this news. I just wished I'd gotten to see them live - that is, if the news is even true.
