Okay, so I download one of David Cross' stand up performences but I got it in 18 parts. Is there a way I can combine them into one file? Thanks.

I would assume so. Progams like Acid and stuff can combine it and you could save it as one file. I haven't actually done it before, but I think using Acid would work. You can download it off of Sony.com, I think.

Yes, it can be done, and in exactly the way Girios described.

Although why you would want to put it into one whole file is beyond me.

Same thoughts.

I can't even split mp3's into different sections. :wth:

Yeah, usually I hear questions about how to split mp3s, not combine them.

If you download Goldwave (trial version), you can select the entire segmented file, copy, open up the file you want to put it at the end of, and hit Edit -> Paste.. -> At ending. Do it for all 18 tracks.

Tedious. But it works.

On another wavelength, I must get this show from you. David Cross is amazing as Tobias in Arrested Development.

You could add them all to a playlist. That way you could choose an individual song or the entire concert.

Because I have all of my live shows/stand-up performences in one file and I would rather have that then 18 parts.

Oh, that makes sense, I guess.

I always end up splitting mine because sometimes I don't want to hear certain segments of an act and would rather skip tracks instead of guessing where a segment ends.

You can, but there are going to be gaps. Personally, I think it'd take too much time to get everything to mesh to be worth it. The programs listed above are all good, though... mp3direct cut also has the option to combine files, too, and it's free. It's simple, but it's also short on options.
