:lol: Yeah, the only problem i had with Twin Snakes was the Gamecube controller, i found it hard to control using that pad being as i was used to the PS controller. If Twin Snakes came out on the PS2, it would have probably beat the original.

lol, Everyone hates Raiden, i don't think it's because he's that bad of a character, it's just because everyone love's and wants to play as Snake?!

It really was,they had to tone down everything though because the game is exceptionaly huge.

The creators had a joke going where the ending involved snake and a military dude kissing,obviously the cut that from the game :lol:

Oh yeah, I saw a screenshot of that. I think they cut out an area with the giant genome soldier from Special Missions too.

Raiden was too much of a 'young-blood' in my opinion. Too much of a light-hearted, patriotic, naive and innocent character. Everyone loves the grizzled, mysterious ,single minded deep thinker of Snake over this new character. The only reason i liked Raiden was because it put a rather interesting twist in the plot.

Yeah, it was cool to see a different side of Snake, i think that was the point of Raiden?

I didn't like Raiden much over-all. When i got MGS3 and selected the option 'I have completed the other Metal gear games' and Snake was wearing the Raiden mask i nearly switched my PS2 off.

I've got Sons of Liberty off my mate at the moment,. It's pretty good. Not amazing though, i prefer the ZOE Konami games. I just don't like the stealth element 'cause i always die :blush:

Yes, that is the "cheap" way of defeating him :lol: You won't be able to get his camouflage either if you choose to defeat him that way, his camo is the best in the game.

Here are some tips;

* Use your thermo-goggles to see footsteps. This is usefull when he moves areas.
* Use your directional mic to find the position he's hiding, you'll be able to hear him breathe heavy and sleep.
* When he's sleeping, this is your chance to sneak using your d-pad, once you're next to him, hold him up to get his camo and shoot him in the head. Repeat to beat.
*Simply snipe him, use methods listed above to find his position, this will help as you won't be looking for ages.

yeah i agree with the end of number 2 because the colneol gets REALLY freaky near the end, i could not sleep for 2 days LoL!
and i was a bit dissapointed with raiden, i think he wasnt really that needed to be honest. oh and did you notice that raiden is NOT mentioned on the sons of liberty case... i sense false advertising...

I think the third is the best because it sortta answers all the questions that were asked in the previous games, and i thought the ADAM part was a nice touch to include.

I won't have to wait because I've left that game at least four months ago. :lol: Surely he'd be dead by now.

@Uncle_Raj : Thanks, but I might try that when I replay the game (I saved where The End was already at his weakest, so I can't go back).

The bad thing about letting The End die like that is you don't get his camo.

I have a question for the people who played Snake Eater. During the part of the game near the end where you are supposed to drag the girl across the woods, for me I swear the game was glitched. I could not grab her and when I did she'd let go. What I did was run ahead, kill every enemy, come back, knock her out, then carry her ass through the woods. It took forever and was very annoying. Did anyone else do what I did or was there something I could have done to make her "cooperate"? I swear I tried everything.

On a side note: MGS for the original playstation is the best. Twin Snakes was amazing but some of the little changes in the game angered me.

:lol: I would consider myself a very experienced metal gear solid player. I wouldn't go through all that work without atleast trying the action button a million times first. Did her stamina/health have anything to do with it?

well once her stamina is quite low she stop and you have to feed her buy giving her food ( :shifty: ) and once she has more stamina press ' the action' button and she will follow.

I swear I remember trying that. Because I'd be an idiot for not trying that. It's been about a year since I played it. The only MGS I ever re-play is MGS 1 or the beginning tanker part of MGS2.

Woah. Looks awesome. My guess is, somehow Big Boss is still alive and you play as him or you play as Big Boss in one of his final / later missions. Or you could simply be playing as an aged Snake. Either way, it looks great.

Edit: After reading the details at Gamespot and reviewing the pics a little. I think this game revolves around Snake and has nothing to do with Big Boss. I can't wait to see the trailer.

It won't be Big Boss. It's Snake. The game is set in a futuristic Warzone inwhich a huge battle is taking place & Snake is involved. Depending on who you work with and fight against will effect the storyline and outcome. Sounds great & I like the change.
