Shouldn't you have the 6/21, 6/28, and 7/5 releases up on the "Already released" section since those days have passed?

EDIT: N/M

Pretty good list, how well do the movies for the PSP actually sell?

Friskey™
07-06-2005, 07:49 PM
They actually sell ok wise...the picture quality on the PSP though is amazing. Spider-Man 2 owned on that.

Yea the quality on it is pretty amazing considering the size of both the psp and the disc its on. Its kinda like a smaller version of a portable dvd player.

How much do UMD Movies cost?

User Name
07-07-2005, 04:09 AM
Less than DVD's. They're usually about $20 Canadian up here, in some cases lower than that.

The Doctor
07-07-2005, 06:37 AM
And in America they're about the same price as dvd's.

LinkinJunior
07-07-2005, 07:01 AM

It's because there's the mediocre American version with Sarah Michelle Gellar, and the superb one from Japan that is also known as Ju-On.

I would think.

I've never seen the Taste of Chaos UMD so I did some searching and I saw a September 7th release date for it but you have it as June 28th...I'm not entirely sure which is right but I can't find the UMD.

Oh, the actual DVD release is September 27th so I think September 7th seems more accurate.

It's coming. New movie companies are getting into the UMD business. I read on PSP Updates that the Matrix trilogy and Harry Potter movies will be made into UMD, and even possibly the Lord of the Rings movies.

Friskey™
10-29-2005, 04:39 PM
Yeah, the reason that the Matrix wasn't on UMD was because Warner Bros. didn't agree to a PSP deal. But they've signed a deal so just give it time.

That would be amazing. As long as it's the ORIGINALS! Not that Special Edition garbage. That whole DVD situation still doesn't make sense to me..

What I have against them is the extra garbage that was not needed to be added or changed. There needs to be an option to buy a remastered version of the originals on DVD/UMD that were played in theaters 20 years ago.

I will go into detail of one of many scenes that should not be in the films. The scene that makes no sense to me is in 'A New Hope' when Han is talking to a computer animated Jabba in Mos Eisley. It drives me crazy everytime i see it. Jabba looks terrible and nothing like how he does in RotJ. It's disgusting and it's an unnecessary scene. And if you read the dialogue, it's almost identical to the conversation he just had with Greedo. Also, it appears as if Greedo is in the background by the Millenium Falcon while they are talking after just being killed a second ago. I know there are other Rodians in the galaxy but what are the odds of having 2 identical looking Bounty Hunters of the same race employed by Jabba? It's a huge mess up. And don't get me started on the Jabba's palace music performance scene in RotJ or how they put in the 'updated' Emperor and Anakin in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, respectively.

 Tell your friends of your findings

..I don't think anyone prefers the Special Edition over the originals. (I mean this in terms of the added and changed scenes)
