I haven't, but apparently there's not much Batman hype around. :wth:
Here is my very brief review of the movie that i made a while back in the "what movie did you see last..." thread.
Batman Begins;
Fuck me, how great was this movie? It blew me away, everything about it was absolutely brilliant. The plot was very well thought out and this movie makes everything make sense, there's nothing left unanswered and the best part about it is, it's believable.
The dark atmosphere all the way through the move is what made this amazing, it stayed true to the zero one comics and to the original Batman movie. Forget everything you've see before, this is what Batman should be like.
Christian Bale was brilliant, along side a great cast. Bale is definately the best Batman to date and this is definately the best Batman movie to date.
10/10
So yeah. I can't say it was better than Spider-Man, as i have a huge obsession with Spidey.

I think you mean you thought it'd be more like Spiderman or X-Men which both were way more comic book like rather than real world based. I mean, of course Batman is just like any other super hero, a way out there character. But it has more of a story and it's just deeper. And I admit I went in there thinking that it'd be like Spiderman and co. But I was surprised and delighted that it turned out the way it did.
There's nothing wrong with not liking a movie but it just might be because you were expecting something different and got something better (IMO).

The first thing that came to mind after seeing it was, "Now THAT was a Batman movie."

to me, it was the only non-cheesy batman movie i've seen..cos they actually saw batman before he was the hero he was, from his training days to when he was saving theworld.
and when i saw that dudes, mask, the evil one, im like "SLIPKNOT!!" my bf n friends cracked up laughing

This movie, Spider-man, and the new Superman will be hailed as the greatest. I'd love to include X-Men, especially the second one, but it just aint happening, I think.
not great , not o.k , but crap i fell asleep and walked out of the cinema before it even finished.
