Ok, my parents are planning on getting SBC Yahoo! DSL Express. First thing I want to know is if DSL is better or worse than Broadband, or is DSL the same as broadband? And secondly, but more important to me, can you hook up XBOX live with DSL? Or do you have to have broadband?
Anthony.

DSL is some kind of broadband connection, as cable internet. Consequently (sp?), it is compatible with the PS2.

You might have troubles with DSL. I've had plenty of them in the past. I think you're better off with Broadband IMO.

DSL IS broadband. I was on Cable, but i've moved over to DSL. In my opinion, DSL is better. But it really depends on your location. You can use DSL for Xbox Live, PS2 online, Gamecube online, etc. etc. If you have a wireless router, and the router that DSL will give you should be wireless, you can play PSP or DS online.
DSL is the way to go, or Cable. Both are broadband and both are great.
Are you sure Gamecube is online?

Phantasy Star Online wouldn't have been released on it if it weren't. ;)
