I read the Time article on her; it's a puff piece, but it makes me see Ann Coulter and conservatives in a really different light. I think the Time article helped showed the humanity in people. According to the article, she has a great sense of humor. Funny thing is that she refused to read the article because she said that the photographer butchered her photo on the cover by using a fish-eye lens.

I don't like her but I will never step over the line and draw comparisions between Hitler and her; there are a lot of people who are a lot worse than her. Those people are the ones who should be compared to Hitler. I don't think that Ann Coulter is an extreme right-wing radical; compared to many others. Pastor Fred Phelps is way more extreme than her. The problem with her is that she gains notoriety from people who oppose her (like you and me), and in doing so she gains more credibility from conservatives. She's like their champion, because no matter what she says, her comments are so inflammatory that some non-conservative newspaper or editoral will immediately spring back up and smear her as well, which gives a chance for conservatives to smear them. Both sides fight dirty.
