They're good, just sometimes the screaming bugs me.
If I said what I think about them I'd probably be breaking several rules

Unfortunately, they were a local band. So all the emo kids wear their Hawthorne Heights shirts with extreme pride in my town. In my opinion they would be okay if they didnt have that annoying screamer. I just hope the emo genre is just a phase like disco.

I liked the band till I heard the lyrics ''Cut my wrists and black my eyes.''

I'll take Fear Before The March Of Flames over them.

The same with me. The guitarist is from my city, I think. I don't know, one of them is. I live in Huber Heights, Ohio, if anyone feels like checking.

I like them. Good music is good music. I'm not sure what that means, but I still like them.

I've downloaded 6 of their songs. My favourite song (by far) is 'Ohio Is For Lovers'. I'm not really into hardcore emo/screamo; in general most of the bands sound really similar, but there are some standout hardcore emo/screamo bands. Hawthorne Heights is one of them.

Hawthonre Heights gets boring very quickly. The screaming sounds like a constipated birds.

I used to like them but their album got old really fast. I don't think they're much more than a band trying to fit into the emo genre, trying to make it.
