Yeah, the last Pope they list, which is the last '???' is quite scary.
Now, where did I put my bible again...
Because those prophecies are always right

Of course they are.
On a side note, Tupac, Elvis, Jesus, and Bruce Lee are all still alive.
And the world will end in 2012, according to the Mayans (or was it the Aztecs? I'm not sure)

Of course, JP2 wasn't in the Nazi Youth.
Nothing against Benedict, he was forced, but he has that look.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold the Hitler Youth thing against him. He apparently never considered himself a part of the Nationalist Socialist party.

Yeah, he was forced to become part of the Hitler Youth.
I don't like him. I completely disagree with all of his views.

Same. I've heard he thinks women are only useful for cooking, cleaning and raising kids. He's openly critisized other religions and thinks catholosim is the only one thats right, he's against divorce, homosexuality and any other positive reform. Looks like they picked a winner

He is a sign that catholicism is never going to change.
And I clearly stated in my post that he was forced to join the Hitler Youth.

I believe you mean 2016 predicted by the Aztecs? Or am I wrong with that date?

I'm an athiest too and glad I don't have to follow a word he says, but the fact this man wants to impose these beliefs on millions of people is just wrong

He can try to impose whatever he wants, that's his job as the Pope, it's up to people if they want to listen to him or not. I read in a press release that he's hoping to stop so many people from abandoning Catholicism like they have been, but if he ends up being a stickler with what he thinks is right, I have a feeling people are going to continue walking out on the church.

He's far from right. I could go into a huge rant about what's wrong with Catholicism, but I won't.

I agree completley. He couldn't be any more wrong on that issue.
Maybe it will take millions to realize the corruption within the church and leave to knock some sense into him
didnt they say they were going to have either an african or a south american?

One problem... Loads of people have thought the world was going to end at certain times and they've never been right. Some people even said the end of the world was gonna be 2002. It's just a load of bullshit
EDIT: On the very last section where it says 'The End' does that mean that there will be no more pope's after that?

If one was to believe the prophecy (which I wouldn't, btw. I have a Catholic friend and he thinks it's bullshit), then yes, "The End" is considered Judgement Day/Armageddon/Apocalypse/Whatever.
So, that would be after Pope Benedict XVI dies. I'm still not clear on whether it means the world will cease to exist when Benedict dies, or when the Pope after him dies. Meh.

Oh no. I hope this isn't so. Then again, people were wrong in the past about when the world was supposed to end.

If he doesn't force his views on us, then I'm cool with him being pope.

Prophecies are rarely ever right, but I guess that's the point you're trying to get across.

I think all the Buddhists should band together. :chemist: But that'd be a moot point.

ummm the whole thing with the Nazi's youth.....to tell the truth i dont think what he says makes sense. if you know that you are doing something wrong why go on and do it?
personally if i knew i wasdoing something wrong i would try to change the outcome. but something made him stay and not revolt.
well what is in the past is in the past and we will see by his actions what kind of a pope is he
