Shadows...

Time ago my friends and i were arguing about something that most ppl consider stupid, but deep inside this question there could be an inteligent asnwer so here it is...

When u r in a dark room, where u cant see anything, your shadow still exists?

Your shadow is nothing but your own image blocking a source of light. Thusly, if you are in a room that is too dark to see in, and there is no light whatsoever, then you do not have a shadow.

Wouldn&#39;t it be irrelevant to question what you can and cannot see if in fact you can&#39;t see to begin with? A shadow is something in which is casted when one covers light. A "shadow" is nothing more than something that is created when light is blocked as it&#39;s been stated. Again, to question whether or not you can see your shadow when in fact you can&#39;t see anything in the dark to begin with really makes the whole idea irrelevant. If in fact you can see your shadow in darkness, then there is a source of light somewhere casting that shadow.

a shadow isnt a tanget object or anything. like if you take a picture of your shadow with a flash, theres no shadow. because its just you blocking light. when you expose light on a shadow then its just light and the shadow is gone. simple as that. there are no magical powers or whatever. its truly nothing to worry about.
