Mozilla bought out by Microsoft
In a surprise turnout of events, Microsoft has bought out open-source company Mozilla.
Mozilla is known for its recent success Firefox, which has exceeded over 25 million downloads in the past 6 months. That is approximately 8% of the internet population.
"We were very satisfied with the numbers that were being put out, but it just wasn't enough," said Ben Goodger, founder of the open-source company. "We figured that distribution through a major company like Microsoft would help bring our open-source project to a wider audience."
Bill Gates and his representatives have as of yet refused to comment on the future of Mozilla, and whether or not the company's browser and e-mail client (Firefox and Thunderbird, respectively) will be integrated into Microsoft's next OS.
However, experts suggest that the code for Firefox will be incorporated into IE7, which is currently in production.
Like that.

Google introduces GMessenger
Today, on the anniversary of Google's revolutionary GMail, Google reveals its latest product GMessenger.
"GMessenger is something we've been working on for a very long time and are very happy to release in beta form to the world," states Google representative Tomi. "We believe that our new program can change the world of instant messenger for the better. There are many features included in the beta that we believe will bring a large group of people to the program."
The instant messenger program will include the ability to capture pictures of yourself in different moods, that will appear when various phrases, such as the infamous 'LOL,' are typed in. Other features are set for release later in the beta.
Members of the test will provide feedback to confirm how ready the messenger will be when it hits the public.
GMessenger will release April 5th.
